What a race. It started with that absolute carnage on Lap 1 which shot me from worst to first in GTE. The next hour flew by and then crash. Got left front damage. Then I crashed in the chicane which gave me engine damage. Then Caine was all over my Biemers butt. He passed me and then I made, what I thought, would be my last pitstop. It only took a couple of laps till I was back in the pits for damage. Then I was being lapped by redbullrider20 and stigglet. They were crashing in front of me and from nowhere matt all of us and a little pit of wee came out (jk:lol:). Then redbullrider20 hits a invisible barrier and dies in front of me. I had to limp it back to the pits with body parts on my car. Then a couple of laps later into the last harepin I hit the clutch instead of the breaks and I crashed. Then I finished. Anyways great race and congratulations to @gtpcaine for his race win and GTE Drivers Championship win. Well deserved win. It's been an honor to race against you this season. :cheers:

Great race to commentate on, plenty of action where ever you looked, slightly anti-climatic finish to the race and a bit stagnant in the middle as strategies were unfolding, but well done everyone! Also I hope to be competing in the series again in the very near future!
 
That race yesterday was quite disastrous for me to be frank. Especially the last half hour or so, was just trying too hard I guess. I'm suprised as to how I finished on the lead lap but I'll take it for what it is and start hammering down at Suzuka.
 
Was sad to see my reserve give up half an hour early yesterday. The team was in for a podium place hadn't he done that. But I guess that's what I get for not being there to race myself..
 
My car looks REALLY tail happy on the stream. Goes to show how much I was on the gas. :sly: Hopefully I can put in a good drive at Suzuka as Madrid was less than sufficient for me.

HDR is no more, pdm have had to leave and no one filled the last GTE spot

Also there were 11 people who started last night and only 4 incident reports so far


If that is your attitude then why are you racing in this series? The whole point is it's a team event and many of us have had to fight our way through some poor results from our team mates.. Really find that about as disrespectful as can be

Yeah u may have to fight after a bad result in race one in once in a while but I've had to fight back all season except for two races if gets a little tiring after awhile.

If I could do it in GTE then you could do it in LMP. I missed the first 5 races and I am fighting for 2nd in GTE. Your a fast driver and you shouldn't let bad results stop your encouragement to race. Your better than that. :D

personally I don't think I've finished outside the podium but maybe 3 or 4 times but it doesn't really matter if I have to make up 3 laps every race.
 
Stop complaining about me :lol:. Look, we have had some bad results and I just have had such a hectic schedule so I couldn't practice the track at all. I'm not a bad driver, I actually do pretty good on tracks I am used to.

i don't have anytime to practice during the week either that setup I have you was basically the same one from nurb with a few adjustments. I did a 109.1 on full fuel but unfortunately I just got it to you right as Memto was starting quali

Would if I could but unfortunately I have to work Sunday so I'm racing Saturday.
 
I did a 1:41.3. Car sucks, not looking forward to this. Not sure if Caine is going to turn up anyway so we can just wrap it up just by finishing the races.

I sure hope that that's a GTE time Nin. I did a 1:41.3XX in the Bentley (RS) and a 1:55:XXX in a Corvette on RH.
