Could not apply stickers ... a little help needed.

Tried to apply stickers and stripes to roof and rear of a WRX STi yesterday.
Couldn't place and edit them though, they started to flash slowly and stayed more or less invisible.
Can anyone please explain ?

Of course ... I chose 'other option' and 'roof'.
The editor gave me roof view - perfect - I picked a sticker ...
but it wouldn't be displayed like all the others, it actually flashed slowly.
Just like the editor couldn't detect the surface of the car correctly  ...

Some cars have weird zones. You can go on "projection options" and add more depth and angle.

Be careful not to add too much depth tough, as it can go far.
(A left side sticker with a +10 depth sometimes appears on the right side of the car!).

Will try this, thank you very much.

Edit:
No success here. Couldn't manage to apply anything, neither on 'roof' nor on 'rear' ( except numberplate ).

Any other tips ?

Maybe you are in the « other » option while you should just stay in the main « body » and chose the right view ?

Is it not because they are white stikers and the car is white?

:D

Oh, my car is girlie pink. Could this be the reason  ? Cheers.

Thanks for helping me.
I've got it ... if you go to 'Body / Roof' everything's fine.
If you go to 'Other / Roof' it doesn't work.
Will have to find out why this is 👍 !

Car body is separated in multiple section so it's actually easier to work on specific parts.

Body is usually the whole car (except bonnet)
Bonnet is well, the bonnet >.>
Other is licence plates and a few other smaller parts, depends of the vehicle.

If you want to know what section covers what parts of the vehicle, choose one category and press R3. It'll show in blue what can be mapped.

Why some cars have roof on other is easy. It isn’t a part of the body itself. Like cars with carbon fiber roof.

Finally ... somebody who just could explain a bit 👍👍👍 !

Yes, thank you, I get it together slowly.
Could a light bar be in "other" ?

I just spent a good amount of time creating my front numberplate and I just want to copy it to the rear of the car and save myself a lot of time. Please advise.

I was just going to post what @PinKPanther put, you press R3 and it turns a bluey/turqoise colour and shows what you can put stickers/shapes on..The roof didnt change on that car, it just went white.
