Could we transfer Prologue cars to GT5? +Which 10 would you choose?

I think it would be a good idea to be able to transfer cars from your GT4 garage. The car would have to be in GT5, however, to be compatible - what I'm thinking is, it could take all the data (mods, colour, mileage) from the GT4 car, and apply it to the GT5 version of the same car - so it's not actually your car, but a new GT5 one with all the data of the GT4 one - effectively importing the car.

For cars that are in GT4, but aren't in GT5, it would come up with an incompatibility error.

I'd feel so naked and alone without my little blue Lancer 1600... :nervous:

I like the idea, but it will never happen since the PS3 isn't BC anymore.

Also I plan on starting from scratch.

Guess I'm in the minority here and would like the option to transfer the cars. I see it as I've already started fresh once with a beater (ok so the RSX isn't quite a beater) but I raced all the slow races and earned the credits for the nice cars just like everyone else and I'd like the option to have the hours that I've spent doing that transferred into the new game so I can keep what I worked hard to earn.

The class restrictions will of course prevent me from whipping TOO much butt but if I had the choice, I'd rather not have to go back and re-race all the races I've won, go back and re-earn all the cars that I've earned....etc.

Oooh, thats a tough one. Probably:

1. Mitsubushi lancer evo XI/Tuned (yellow!)
2. Renault Clio/Tuned
3. Ferrari F40
4. Mine's Skyline
5. Ferrari F2007
6. Blitz Skyline
7. Corvette ZO6/Tuned
8. Sizuki Cappuchino HP/Tuned
9. Amuse S2000 GT1
10. Citroen GT (price....)

And it would be awesome if we could transfer our credits from GT5p to GT5 (so many cool new cars to buy!)

What about some type of "fee" to transfer cars. Instead of just tranfering them for free, you have to pay say 25-50% of the cost of a new car. It would be benificial to those of us who have spent hours (days/weeks, lol) playing prologue, but wouldn't be too unfair to those who are waiting for the full version to come out.
I'd like to start the career mode from scratch, but I wouldn't mind having some favorites for online racing.

1. BMW M3
2. Nissan GT-R (Not because I like it, I hate it infact but I'm sure you'll need it for some races)
3. F2007
4. 135tii
5. Ferrari 599
6. Focus ST
7. Lexus ISF
8. Ferrari F40

That's it for me.

I'd rather only start with transferred licences. No car transferring for me, I'd rather start with some rubbish car for now.

how can you hate a car... maybe youve driven it or something but then youd like it.. or is it because its tooo good!

I do agree with the start in a second hand car, in fact, I preffer that, but the main reason I would like to transfer the cars is to be able to have a higher performance car than usual every now and again - for just driving rather than seriously racing...

I'd much rather start from scratch with just enough credit to buy a beater. I'm sure the events will be updated also, so we won't have to run all the same races again.

I also think it would be brilliant if when you buy a used car, it might have a few scrapes and dents - utilize the damage feature - that we could repair if we chose, like if we get racing modifications we would have to repair the body damage... Would make it more interesting that buying a used car that still looks brand new... Plus the addition of visible dirt on the car e.g. If you are off the tarmac on a track for say 30 seconds, dirt could build up where it has sprayed up from the wheels spinning...

Love it! And make it expensive to repair also. If you have to pay for damage, we might see less of it. Just like NFS porsche. I would get upset with myself every time I damaged a car because a good portion of your winnings went to repairs. 👍 👍 👍

Seeing how fast one can accumulate cash in Prologue, I think I'll start fresh. :) But if I would have the choice to take some cars with me:

1. Ferrari F430
2. Renault Clio V6 Sport '00
3. Dodge Viper/Tuned
4. Corvette Z06/Tuned
5. Blitz ER34

I think it would be a good idea to transfer Prologue cars to GT5 because unlike GT4 Prologue, it has become an actual good-selling demo. I would choose:

1. Ferrari F2007
2. Nissan R35 GT-R
3. Ford GT
4. Honda NSX Type-R
5. Mines BNR34 Skyline
6. Ferrari F40
7. Nissan Skyline Coupe Concept
8. Ferrari F430
9. BMW M3 Coupe
10. BMW Concept 1 Series tii

Ferrari F430
Ferrari California
Ferrari F40
Ferrari F2007
Ferrari 599
Ferrari 512BB
Nissan R35GTR
Nissan 350Z Opera/GT
Renault Clio/Tuned
Chevy Corvette ZO6/Tuned

I do expect most - if not all - the cars in GT5P to be in GT5, so personally, I´d have a fresh start without any cars. Makes it a little harder and a little more enjoyable IMO.

While I'll still do a fresh start, I do want to get into a few cars and just run around the new tracks that will be included. That said, I'd only really like the Evo X/Tuned, Amuse S2000 GT1, and F2007 to do so.

I'd love to be able to transfer the cars. There's nothing saying you have to use them if you transfer them, you can still start with your bomby 2nd hand car, but it just saves you from repeating Daytona s9 or whatever it was 20 times to buy a Ferrari you've already driven previously in Prologue, and the same goes for the other 71 cars!

Couldn't have put it better!
