When the course creator becomes available what type of environments can we expect? Will it just be at the Ronda location or can we expect like 3 or 4 locations and build our course on top of a pre-existing layout- or will it be more of an open sandbox where you add objects to the track and the surrounding area? I would love the option to add signs around the track, as it aids in the effect that you are on a race track.

Other open sandbox editor tools would also be a great addition. Including degrees of banking in corners and elevation changes.

I thought it was confirmed that the environment would be based on the spanish city of Ronda?

You can very well be 100% right on that Emmettbrown1955. I've heard about Ronda. However plans could've changed- new environments could be added or changed that type of thing. Also new features we haven't heard about yet could be implemented. I have edited my question. Thanks for the input!!!

If that's still the case as to the surroundings are based on Ronda, I'm already fantasising how my local streets will look when Course creator finally comes out. Obviously, the function to share your track creation is just as important.

I'm completely contended if they're putting effort in it and cause for such long dev time.

Ronda is a fabulous location..free roam there alone would be a drivers paradise..but I was thinking it would work on GPS data collected somehow..." The world is your track" sounds great....also we have had clips of the new VW vision drag racking in a photo location...and the city of arts and science in Spain would just be a fantastic play ground for divers....good question dude...

I really see the day when we could have a GT game where all you do is type in your cordinates- where to and back again- with the real world buildings and everything as your environment. Just think of Google maps and what they have done. Street view mode there is already a huge leap to implementing this. Incorporate that into Gran Turismo and WOW!!! That's a long time away- PS6- time away, but one day it could be done. You gotta dream to make anything happen!!

Ps6. Ha ha...ps4 is a pritty powerfull machine ...it's already a tall order to maximise the potential now....and I like your thinking....I'm sure that would be in the relms of posabilaty now...but a lot of programming ..mind to recreate the solare system was a matter of pasteing in data already available...

My interpretation was that we would still get something similar with environments as in GT5 (not nessesarally the same locals) to start out with to create a new course, and that Ronda would be a little different in that the streets, building etc., are fixed can't be moved, but you creat a course working your way through the town that blocks off the streets that you don't use. Something similar to what Project Gothem Racing 3 had.

Another thing that should be easy to implement is real time weather/time at the real courses as an option. If it's raining at Indy it should be raining in the game. If it's 2:00 a.m. at Indy it should be night in the game, but only as an extra option. (personally I do not like night races- my old eyes strain even when adjusting brightness levels) Also the tempertures on the track could effect the car's performance and elevations as well.

Ronda is miles and miles of dirt track as far as you can see from the bridge...the only buildings are the ones you can see in photo mode....I walked around the whole town in a afternoon....but the winding dirt tracks go for miles and miles...
