Well done to those who participated, spent a bucket load of time on this on Sunday, and was going to have another go yesterday but didn't manage to get on and should have posted my final attempt before the cut off which was a 1:19:448.

Great time Hammy and congrats on first place.

This is going to be another hard one, well i guess last it is then, Good luck everyone

@SpaceBreed give it a go mate, you're faster than you think you are. One day it would be great if you want to get online with me, and i can help you with some tips to get a bit more speed, you're a serious racer with the setup that you have, so it would be great to help you. :) And that goes for anyone else here too. 👍

Honestly, i'm no serious racer, it's just natural to me, i hardly practice... This latest combo, i've chosen off the top of my bald head. :P I've watched all types of motor sport since i could walk, for over 30 years now (and squeak lol), i think that's what helps me, knowing the racing lines etc. I don't really do setups either, although i never run driver aids, which ultimately make you faster i think, as the car isn't "restricted" and "held back" by the electronics.

Good luck mate! ;)

Lovely, #Nohomo really appreciate that, yeah i think the vast majority is because of exposure, i only started recently and although i practice i am also limited to a few guys whom i am a tad quicker than, and that leaves less room to improve, this is why i love this place, just need to motivate myself out of that last spot although i appreciate the fact that someone has to be last and i am happy to be holding onto that title, one day i will rise.
Thanks @HammyMansell you're a Legend

I had a quick go, only the second time i've driven this car since it appeared in the DLC, 1:46:607, but lots more time to find i think.

This car is similar to the SF-15T F1 Ferrari with the hybrid system, but this time it will be much more tricky to judge where to use the extra electricity........The previous TT at Red Bull Ring with the Hybrid F1 car was much more straightforward, as the RBR is short, whereas Silverstone GP is much longer, if you have it set to "Hotlap". all the juice is gone by the time you exit the Becketts/Maggotts complex before the next long, and important Hangar Straight, it'll be interesting to see who gets it right. :)

That's why i am already 4 seconds slower, i used hotlap as well.

First thing to do guys is get used to the car on the Track, what gears to use etc etc. After that, start playing with the hybrid stuff more. I leave my recovery on 70%, and i put the "Hot lap" setting from Copse corner onwards, i hope that helps. 👍

Will def try that, thanks

LOL! I'm glad somebody noticed that I do that. All in fun. Though, sometimes I do feel like I need an ambulance after some of my laps.

We all know you're just waiting to see if a sexy nurse turns up @Boston77 !! ;)

Here we are, first good attempt. Just took out some fuel and put soft tyres on, and paid heed to hammys tips on when to use the kers and it seems to have paid dividends!

Ohhhhhhhhh....... :ill: #HamsterInHiding

I found gradually increasing the ERS setting, so i was using "Hot Lap" down hangar Straight, Stowe and Club, meant that the juice didn't run dry before the end of the lap. 👍

P.S. everyone, i'm thinking of ending this TT a day early, tomorrow, so we can run a new TT with the new Porkas in PP3 coming on Monday! :) So get those times in!

I propose the free Macan unless everyone has the PP3, and maybe on Zandervort track, just maybe

Sure @SpaceBreed .........If anyone has any suggestions, the free Macan coming tomorrow, or if we're all gonna have PP3 from day 1, a car from that too. Myself, i was thinking of running the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 2017 at Nords/Nurburgring, but all suggestions welcome! :)
