some races were hilarious

only thing i find strange is that there is only rallycross online...
there is no ghosted rally racing against each other...

awesome game how it plays, but curious how long it will be fun

Ive set up a moderated league using the Dirtgame website. I get a message saying I have no friends on Racenet so can't work out where to invite people. Any ideas how I get invites out to people?

There's a simple Pikes Peak event in for our first league event which runs until tomorrow night UK. 3 runs on all three versions of the track. No restarts.

You can't when you're in the TV style replay. I think it stays on other views though. It's a shame as I'd like the option to stick with the broadcast style cameras without the onboard stuff.

@alegunner68 i think if you're on a wheel, using the gear up/down paddles changes the camera view. I think it changes the view!

Yes but in TV replay view it keeps switching to onboard gopro type camera shots for dramatic effect. I'd rather see the beauty shots from trackside cameras in that particular mode.

I've set this particular one to be just the Quattro S2 with default tune. It keeps it simple for the first one. They'll vary as we get into the game more.

That's the only reason I haven't bought it yet and will probably be a few weeks at least before i'm done with DS3. From what I hear it sounds great though.

You don't get one on Pikes Peak. Just you and the mountain (and lots of POWER!)

The all dirt version of Pikes Peak is a ridiculous amount of fun! Pretty much never had the car pointing in the forward direction the whole time and a huge smile on my face. I had three decent runs with a few mistakes but it's something for you guys to aim at, I'm sure the quicker guys will destroy it. Enjoy!

I managed 1 semi decent run on the full gravel and a couple of dreadful runs on the first couple. The car was pretty much destroyed after 1.5 runs. I finished 2 runs with no tyre. Thankfully the tyres do get replaced for the next runs or I would have posted a time in hours rather than minutes.

As a momento of our first event I've created a club banner in the first post.

Apologies to all but the first event finishes in an an hour and a half. I made a mistake when setting it up. Only 3 have completed the 6 runs although some have done of them. You can do the first run, on each surface and then abandon the second run. The first time will be used.

I'll put together a longer season once it's expired. Thankfully you can save as you go which means we don't have to do all events in one session.

@Eyeseeh50 can also create events for us. If anyone has particular requests for events let us know.

I found reducing steering saturation really helps with the 60's mini, makes it really flickable. Might save three presets for the different types of cars.
