CRAP DiRT Rally Club [PS4] Racenet League Events live

I will add you to my friends list so we can race, at least. That said, I'm not very good yet. Right now, I'm racing on the "Hard" level and have kept the traction control to the minimum setting and ABS set to low. The difference between that and all the assists off is like night and day, but I'll get used to it. It's freakin' fast though!!

Putting down the traction is tough in this game with no assists. I run no assists because you know, I'm so hard core and all.

I think only @V0RT3X & @ELmarcotuff are the only people in this particular thread that are in the same time zone as myself...assuming they live in the eastern time zone...but they could be as much as three hours back from me...which would mean they could be up to 11 hours back of you. You're right. It sucks mind you, as this league has the best (and most friendly) drivers. Fudge it...I'm moving to London; it's the only way to have a proper racing community :gtpflag::gtpflag:

I live in the eastern time zone, but @ELmarcotuff lives in the central time zone, meaning he's an hour behind eastern time.

it was exciting till the end this one,........... only 23 seconds in the end that you lead :ouch::sly:
congrats for this one at least

I've seen every stage result and it was exciting to see! I lost a lot on S4 because of that stupid corner that should be a 3 bad camber instead of 4 right!! I'm still happy overall and looking forward to see end results 👍

Once I get a handle on it, we'll definitely race.
Did some practice in Wales yesterday...definitely different than piloting an F1 car... a 'lil rusty to say the least.

Finally...in regards to the WCH game tonight between Team Canada and Team USA...er...GO CANADA GO

@Dice73AF I'm GMT-3, so I believe I am one hour ahead of Eastern Time. I am downloading F1 2016 right now. I am usually on during the day while the kids are at school and on days where my workload is light (I work from home). So I'm not sure if I'll be able to hook up with you guys very often but I'll definitely keep an eye out and see if our schedules coincide one day.

I don't want to continue taking this off-topic, but I have read that PS4 multiplayer has some serious issues that haven't been fixed yet.

This will give me time to get up to speed, so-to-speak. And yes, forgive me DiRT friends...we'll not take hostage this board. That's my bad.

Stage 4 win, by 23 seconds , I'm pretty sure what looks like the current leader hasn't done all the stages but, I want this to be true.

Not that it matters anymore, I overshot a square left and got high centered on the edge of the stage..... Lost all the ground I made up.

Hey all,

Got the game last week, really enjoying it and would love to join an active league on GTP. I'm not 100% familiar with how leagues work yet though - am I free to jump in and join even though you're in the middle of your season?

Thanks :)

Yes, you can jump in now in Wales. Click the dirtgame.com URL in the first post in this thread. Log in with your PSN ID and join the league. Then it will show up for you in the game.

I lost a wheel 15 seconds in on stage 4 so I couldn't push. I'm not sure who's got the fastest time there but probably not me...

Like I said last season, I'm not useless just not consistent. I get a good stage and then the hype is very real, and then I lose it all.

I used to suffer a lot from that until I learned to just calm down on areas I am not 100% sure of. Playing the championships all the way up to and winning Masters helped me to learn the iffy areas and take care accordingly. Previously I could never string two or three good stages together.

In the current event in my Argentine league, I blew it all on the last (8th) stage. After 7 long Monte Carlo stages, the leader had 46:28,568 and I was second with 46:33,101 and third place was 46:33,167! I ran a real scrappy stage and then screwed up near the end of the stage and spun 180, lost about 5 seconds, but that was enough to miss the win and also lose 2nd place!

The pressure in this game when you're neck-and-neck with other drivers is incredible. Codies has really made a gem with DiRT Rally!

Started yesterday and finished today the rally of Wales and finally I can say I believe this was one of the better rallies I have had so far. No any major mistakes and I think I got my personal record at least on stage 5 maybe on some other stages as well.

thanks for keeping the score up,.. do not know why, but the game messed up my score on the ps4 leaderboards itself :(

This happens frequently, where one or two finishers do not get their points computed. In my other league we once had the entire field omitted from the points for one event. The dumb thing is that RaceNet allows you to deduct points via penalties, but it does not allow you to ADD points to compensate for this issue.

Sorry to bring this topic back, but I just found out how points can be awarded to people. @Eyeseeh50, you may find this useful.

In the league, click on Roster Management. Whomever you want to add points to, find them and in the Penalties column use a NEGATIVE number to add points to their tally. For example, let's say player1 finished 8th but didn't get his points awarded in the system. You would enter "-4" in the Penalties box and click on "Apply penalties", and it will ADD four points to his tally!

Holy...so, I figured I'd do some practice yesterday...and it seems I've forgotten how to drive a rally car. Man. So much for the extra week of practice...I hope I can find some stability soon.

Finally...in regards to the World Hockey Championship...GO FINLAND GO!!! I really hope they smoke Russia today!

No we did not smoke em. Not very good tournament for Finland this time.

I was really susprised, to be honest. Finland's a much better team than they showed in this World Cup. I have to admit my cheering for Finland was with ulterior motives; I wanted to see the U23 Team N. America play Team Canada in the semi-final. Had Finland won, it would be them instead of Russia. That said, there's nothing wrong with a Canada / Russia game. Usually good hockey...but their (Russian) defense is truly suspect this year. We shall see...

I'm going to have to skip Wales rally GB. Too much pain since surgery and not really in the mood for doing the rally with a controller neither ...

Looks like I'm not going to be able to do Wales either. After 94 hrs of work this week I just am too tired. Need to compile the results also.

Just the snow and ice of Sweden left to go and MAXPOWER has got himself a nice lead.

Has anyone got any suggestions for the next season? I was thinking of doing a 2wd season both front and rear wheel drive being allowed. Not sure if this will work.
