CRAP GT6 - GT500 Sat 7 Nov 9pm EST (GMT-5)Open

Thanks for the feedback Dan. I agree that it goes against the tradition of motor racing but is overtaking and defending the same or is the power boost too much?

I have been in some rooms that have used boost and didn't really care for it as no matter how good you where through corners the car behind had the extra power to sail past you on the straights, very frustrating at times.

I will just do the 2 horse races with the Stratos and Alpine since everybody seemed to enjoy the last two.

Sorry Bry your event post has sort of getting lost because of this discussion.

Don't forget this is happening tomorrow! ^^^^^^^

Sorry I've not had time to update the club name with the date for Bry's event. Tried last night but fell aslaap before I got to the screen

Saturday 11th April 1pm BST

Okay, kinda newish to this thread. So, dumb question and I did read the OP. How do I join in for what seems to be some good fun?

Hi Booyaka. You can either search for the "CRAP Racing" club in game in the GT6 community club search section or click on the link below from web browser. You'll then need to login to GT6's website using your psn details and join from there. The club will be stored as one of your ingame clubs.

https://www.gran-turismo.com/gb/gt6/user/#!/clubid/1000344/

That will take you to the GT6 club page. You can join from there and enter various events too. At event times we normally do the actual racing in the main club lobby which is often open to the public.

We also have our own private forum which you can join if you like. You'll just need an email address. That's at crap.boards.net

After doing some more testing I've found the Stratos has too much straight line speed on some tracks so I'm changing the regulations.

There will now be a power limit of 183bhp which means the Stratos will have the power limiter set to 94.4%.

If anyone has any spare time to test with this change I would like to hear your time difference between cars.

I haven't tested but I adjusted the regs in the event. Sounds sensible to me.
