Who knows Elite. There is an IndyCar in the 7.0 Patch files DLC, along with the Renault pack. My hunch is the Renaults will be released on the 22nd of December as planned, then on Xmas day itself, there will be a 'surprise' free download, the Indycar (And maybe the Falcon Aussie V8 and BMW 2002 racer), and possibly an oval track to go with it.......I'm just guessing but it sounds logical, and i heard months ago a rumour of a "present" at Xmas. Pray and it might happen, after all, those cars are in the Renault pack for a reason!!

Is there a ford pack still to come??

on the nords was awesome,... i am in for the 10 lapper,...
maybe a idea for the endurance this month??!! , but i think we do not have enough hairy man for that on this forum

but i would like to have damage on (at least mechanical damage, so that when you fok up, you have a bit of a problem going round,... thats so when some really fast guys fok it up, some other people will have a change at getting a better finishing position) and a pit stop.

Im down for that but with mec failures on the engine blows so easy and it would lead to a lot just quitting. Damage on is not so bad but i fear some would still quit with damage.

I think the car is a dream round Nords, i know so people find it tricky but once you get the feel and the tune its epic.
Its RAW 🤬 CAVE MAN style

Maybe one day next week i could host a 10 lapper, how many would be up for this ?

Yes its such a shame when this kinda thing happens, i got blue screen last race 👎

But when its good its very good, nothing touches it for online racing 👍

Yeah man, don't know when, but yes. The Red Bull pack will contain various makes of car sponsored by Red Bull appearently, allbeit Nascars, IndyCars, Aussie V8 supercars etc..... It will be interesting to see what we get!

Unfortunately (don't laugh) I've now broken my foot. I am officially now the most broken man in Britain.

PCARS dash app is now updated to support 7.0 on all formats once it's released and on sale for Android and IOS. I am going to see if I can get it running on 4 devices simultaneously showing different screens. I've been talking to the writer and he says he's looking to allow app control from our wheel or DS4. St Nicholas hopefully has a big Samsung tablet in his sack for me. Stands for this, two phones and an ipod are at the ready. CREW Chief's writer has also said it will support the new data stream for ps4/xb1 so you can mix audio from that into your headset (if you have that facility)

Bad News
I have all this gear ready to try out at Christmas and I'm going to be stuck on a *@##ing DS4 until my foot heals. I shall sit in my camping chair and erect them all around me. I'm fully expecting not to be able to see the TV and will drive by looking at the pCARS dash map.

Yes it's a great car. The group 5 cars are absolutely my favourite cars in the game.

It is the same one PCARS Dash in the Play Store. It won't work with the PS4 until version 7.0 is live.



There are at least two others who have said they will be supporting the new data stream (UDP)

HUD Dash (I dont think it's updated yet)
HUD Dash key for project Cars (there are other unlocks for other racing sim so make sure you buy that one)



I also mentioned Crew Chief. It is a more useful/practical race engineer even operating as a spotter when overtaking.
It is currently only PC but I think is going to support the new protocol and will also work with consoles. I'm not sure if it's going to require a PC to run it for the audio or if it will be launched on Android.





We will need to link the apps with the game and it's a simple process. It broadcasts a data stream on the same wifi network you're on. So there's no limit to the number of devices you can use to pick up the data. It won't impact on the speed of the PS4. There are some android devices that won't be able to link to the particular stream address. However there will be a work around released by someone on the project Cars forum which allows a PC to take PS4 stream and make it available to problem devices.
