TRY AGAIN SPACE CADET.
No, I do not want to give you a virus nor do I want to kill you.I’m getting this fake Japanese ad asking me to “Spin for a prize”
Oh 🤬 off, this is complete bull:censored:. Are you trying to give us Viruses? DO YOU WANT TO KILL US?
I get you need ads to make money, but if you’re asking me for all of my details for a free iPhone X, I have just one thing to say
*SLOW HANDCLAP* Well done GTP, well- 🤬 -done
If you guys don’t put some control over your ads, I WILL stop using this site
Rant over
GTPlanet doesn't have much control over the ads... They use an ad provider. The best way to deal with them (as Jordan said) is to not click on them and send a screenshot of it to him. No need to get angry over it.I’m getting this fake Japanese ad asking me to “Spin for a prize”

Ah, so, I see, you're saying the best way to deal with ads that link to viruses and other stuff is to pay a monthly subscription so no ads appear at all?Ads? What are these "ads" of which you speak?
Actually there is a better way: go premium!
Or don't be gullible enough to click thing's that you should obviously be cautious about? But yeah, buying premium will help everyone.Ah, so, I see, you're saying the best way to deal with ads that link to viruses and other stuff is to pay a monthly subscription so no ads appear at all?

You'd have a point if redirecting ads didn't exist...Or don't be gullible enough to click thing's that you should obviously be cautious about? But yeah, buying premium will help everyone.
No, not at all. Premium is a yearly subscription at a very reasonable rate, and a lifetime subscription is also available for less than half the cost of a new game.Ah, so, I see, you're saying the best way to deal with ads that link to viruses and other stuff is to pay a monthly subscription so no ads appear at all?

Or at least it used to be; I just checked the premium signup page and it appears the only current option is annual although the price is quoted as a monthly figure.
It's more a case that it has arisen again. Sometimes the ad providers allow through ads that are not supposed to appear. Literally the only thing we can do is inform the ad provider when this happens so that they can remove it - and the screenshots help with thatThe problem is not solved yet.
I wouldn't know as I'm not familiar with those kinds of sites...From the seriousness of the ads you could believe that this is a warez or porn site.
Well it stopped after I posted this, but as of this morning it’s doing it again. In fact it did it when I was quoting this post.Been getting this redirect on my alerts page today.

Why have you not reported anything until now? I have asked the ad provider to take another look and they are investigating. Aside from @Sonygamer455's reports, I have not been informed of any other problems.I’ve been getting this constantly for the last week. 2-4 pop ups in a row sometimes. I got it twice while typing this very reply...
The forums are basically unusable at this point. Crazy to me, with how legitimate this website is, that it is so technically illegitimate.
