How about this?:

Caterham Fireblade LM

Engine: The engine is from a 97' MR2 GT-S modified to produce around 230bhp with 300NM of torque.

Powertrain: The Fireblade remains rear wheel drive. The Transmission is from a SZ-R Supra with a twin clutch.

Weight: Around 740kg.

Tread: Trackday slicks (S3's) to give more grip but not too much to keep the fun steering characteristics.

Bodykit: Nothing much, just bigger wheel arches.

Livery: It has standard colours, but with a Fireblade badge on both sides with numbers ranging from 01 to 05.

I tried to make this as realistic as possible.

Will it be playable in Simulation/GT Mode races?  :indiff:

Ford model-t lm race car. Completly different engine obviously a v12 with a 7 speed flappy panel gear box. Carbon brakes and new suspension. Bodywork remains the same. Keeping with the old black only tradition, the car comes in stealth black.

I'd suggest some photoshop guru make their own LM Car, complete with decals :D

Shell Mazda RX-7:
Body - Basically the BP RX-7 Drifter...
Livery/Paint - A silvery, light red with Shell Decals in place of the BP.
Engine - A 13B Rotary engine used in Racing.
Drivetrain - Rear Engine, 4 wheel drive.

FPV F6 Typhoon Touring Car

Body - F6, but with a GT-style bodykit and aero bits (eg C5R)
Livery - Either the blue/white or the yellow/white/black FPR V8 Supercar schemes from 2004.
Engine & Stuff - Turbo 6 from Mine's, approx. 600hp, RWD, 1350kgs
Other - Basically a V8 Supercar (if you don't know what one is, the Aussie Ford Falcon is one) but with, well a turbocharged 6 cylinder.:sly:

'Cuda wheelie car.
Retain the same engine just move it as far back as possible and take as much weight out as possible. ME WANTS WHEELIE. (standing start wheelie)

Sure, but I'd prefer mid-engine instead instead of Porsche 911 rear-engine. And why not make photoshoppings of your LMs with Forza 3?

Daimler Motor Carriage LM Race Car

Lets add some Racing Motorcycle tires
Two Turbos so we can get about 2hp out of it
And throw in the sweet old timey race suit.

 Didn't I already make a 500-horse LM Carriage in a Sim Mode race I thought up in my make a race thread?

I no haz FM3 :(

This was sort of supposed to be a joke. And I don't even have a 360.

Now for some more LM's...

Opel Speedster GT LM

Engine: The Speedster GT LM is powered by a racing-spec version of the Speedster Turbo's 2.0 Litre "Ecotec" Inline-4, Twin-Turbocharged to produce 645 HP and 450 Lb/FT of Torque.

Drivetrain: Mid Engined, Rear-Wheel Drive with an Emco-built 6-speed sequential transmission.

Livery:

Special Livery: An all-Orange "Warsteiner"-sponsored car with Black Wheels.

Misc.: The Opel Speedster GT LM is clearly inspired by the Lotus Elise GT1 Race Car of the Mid-to-Late 90's and shares more in common with full-on Lemans Prototypes than a production Opel Speedster. Because of this, the car was never officially produced, although it IS legal to race in the Dream Car Championship...

Oh come on. Do this has something to do with alterneate sponsorship?

Honda Life Step Van LM
Built to the same specifications as the famous "Armageddon Van," capable of wiping out entire armies. Useful if you want to depose Kim Jong-il.

Edit: The paintjob would be the normal boring shade of blue that the normal vehicle has, so the authorities can't spot you. :sly:

...unless with a box containing race number ;).

Further spec please?

Hey, Racedude. If possible, could you send me the set-up for this car Via Private Mesage? I could act as a development driver and possibly make the car better...

Also, more of my LM's!

Toyota Will VS Touring Car

Engine: The Will VS's Normal Inline-4 bored out to an even 2 Litres and turbocharged to produce 325 HP driven through the Front Wheels.

Transmission: 6-Speed Manual.

Weight: About 1,070 Kgs.

Livery: Black or the Road Car's Metalic Purple with White sponsors.

Availability: Not for sale, though it CAN be won as a prize for winning the Japan Car championship in a Toyota...

Misc.: Designed by a private team to promote Toyota's languishing Japan-only Will brand (Which now sadly ceases to exist), the Will VS Touring Car was designed to compete head-on with the likes of the in the Mazda6 Touring Car and Toyota's own Altezza Touring Car. As such, the car has some aerodynamic tweaks and a fully-functioning Front Splitter and a Rear wing, but the car was never wind-tunnel tested and exhibits only average strait-line speed.

====

Peugot 406 Coupe LM Race Car

Engine: A re-worked version of the Road Car's 3.0 Litre V6 producing around 350 HP.

Transmission: A 6-Speed Manual built by Xtrac.

Weight: Around 1,100 Kgs.

Livery: White with Red Stripes.

Availability: Not for sale. This car can only be won by winning the Euro Hot Hatch Leaugue in a Peugot.

Misc.: This car was built by a smal privateer team that wanted to compete in the Dream Car Championship's "Third Division" (IE Against cars such as the Mazda6 Touring Car, Honda S2000 Lm Race Car Etcs.). While dubbed an "LM", this 406 Coupe has more in common with a Touring Car than a regular racing car. Indeed, most of this car's parts were pilferred from a wrecked Peugot 406 Touring Car and adopted into this car...

If we are going to make a "Third division", I'll go with the Pontiac Sunfire GXP(Tuned, of course): About 300HP, 1,068Kg, of the likes of japanese touring cars. Why there is not a race series for this kind of cars?????:grumpy:

I'm not sure actually...I call it "The Third Division" because those particular cars are slower out-of-the-box than cars like the Mitsubishi FTO Super Touring Car or the Jaguar XJ220 LM. It seems a little strange that there isn't any racing series devoted to those smaller, slower (But more interesting!) cars...

Unless modifying them and transforming them into fire-breathing monsters like they were in GT3 was why they were included? It's Possible...

Anyways...ANOTHER LM!

Acura HSC LM Race Car

Engine: A Normally-Aspirated Variant of the JGTC NSX's 3.5 Litre V6 producing an estimated 500 HP.

Transmission: A state-of-the-art 6-Speed Sequential Gearbox built by Hewland (Also used from the JGTC NSX).

Weight: Exactly 1100 Kgs.

Livery: The car can be bought for 1,500,000 Credits and comes with Sponsorship from either Autobacs (The Autobacs Team Aguri NSX Livery), Takkata Seatbelts (The Takkata-Dome NSX Livery), Mobil 1 (Nakajima Racing NSX Livery) or Raybrig (Team Kunimitsu/Raybrig NSX Livery).

Special Livery: An All-Black Car (Possibly Carbon-Fibre with a laquer to show off the "Weave") wearing a "#00" numberplate with small, white sponsor decals.

Misc.: Built by Honda/Acura to showcase the JGTC (Now Super GT) series in the United States, the HSC LM was designed to take the place of the NSX as Honda's prefered Super GT weapon of choice. Sadly, the project was cancelled (Along with the NSX's Front-Engined follow-up) due to the economy, though Honda did sell one completed car to a certain team...

Postscript: Much Like Racedude's Tuscan LM, I have actually built an HSC similar to the one I've outlined here (Give-or-take 6 HP and around 75 Kgs of weight). I'm still working out the car's kinks but it's as fast as a JGTC Car at this point...

Tommykaira ZZ-S LM Race Car

Spec: Closest to GT300 regulations (this car has a 295hp supercharged engine and weighs 1022kg)
Livery: Silver with Tommykaira and GT logos (race number 28).
How to get: Complete Japanese Champioship with Tommykaira ZZ-S.
Story: Developed as Tommykaira's response to S2000 LM, this was initally used for GT300. However, due to financial (sp?) problems in Tommykaira, the project was sadly scrapped. :(

Citroën 2CV LM Edition

Engine: 2CV's normal engine, with four times more power (55cv)

Transmission: A 5-speed

Weight: Exactly 450kg.

Livery: with post-World War II Citroën, Michelin and Elf logos. Possibility of white (#63), blue (#52), red (#12), black (#15), gray with blue roof (#6), white with gray roof (#8) yellow (#9) or green (#2) color.

Special Livery: A pink (#1) version with a 1.6-liter DOHC, 110cv NA engine, 7-speed transmission and AWD, with just 400kg.

Misc.: Built for rally and lower categories endurance racing. Pink version was a showcase of early Citroen technology. Normal version can be won in the 2CV event, while pink version is only available as a prize if you win the France Championship driving a Citroën.

Postscript: Now who will concern about the 2CV?

How about a Peugeot 905 Race Car LM Race Car? True pointlessness at its best, although that gearbox still really needs some work.

Anyway, on a more serious note...

Honda Prelude LM Race Car '91
Engine: DOHC V6 producing 385hp
Transmission: 6 speed but 6th is rendered obsolete (basically there's not enough power to gain speed in 6th w/o slipstream)
Weight: 980kg
Livery: Relatively similar to the old CR-X del sol LM in red, with minor changes or a livery based around the Raybrig NSX.

Why Doesnt some one make a "General Lee" Charger. It would look awesome on rally. Or here you go

"General Cooper"(mini cooper s)
Fully tuned caterham seven powerplant with twin turbos.
6spd trans with the drivetrain adapted to a awd format.

Livery: Orange with the Union Jack on the roof and 1/2 numbering on the doors.

Here's an idea:
Mazda Demio A-Spec LM Edition

Livery: Demio A-Spec race mod from the first two games.
Drivetrain: FR
Engine: 2-liter 3-rotor from Mazda RX-7 LM
Power: 600 horses or so.
Weight: Around 800-900 pounds.

And a remake of a classic:
TVR Cerbera LM Race Car
Livery: Cerbera LM from GT1 and 2
Engine: Cerbera Speed 12 engine, race prepped to make 1000 horsepower.
Weight: 1750 pounds.
Drivetrain: 4WD instead of FR, cause a 1000 horsepower FR TVR with that much power will spin out even more madly than the Speed 12 from GT2.

Why not the 787B-style livery?

That is rather supposed to a GT2 hybrid :sly:.

Let I make one: 💡

Mazda Autozam AZ-1 LM Race Car
Spec: 13B Turbo engine from FC3S V2 tuned to 223hp, complete with Mazdaspeed suspension and 7-speed transmission. Overall weight 682kg.
Livery: Either Classic Red (car number 63) or Cyberia Blue (car number 36), both with Mazda and Mazdaspeed decals. A secret full-black livery (number 0) and 787B style livery (number 55) is also available. ;)
How to get: Standard livery: use the road-going Autozam AZ-1 in Lightweight K-car Cup. Seceret livery: complete JGTC with the RE Amemiya or the RX-7 LMRC. :mischievous:
Story: Basically Mazda response to Cappucino LMRC (driftking18594's idea ;)).

:D

Mazda Demio A-Spec LM Edition

Livery: Demio A-Spec race mod from the first two games.
Drivetrain: FR
Engine: 2-liter 3-rotor from Mazda RX-7 LM
Power: 600 horses or so.
Weight: Around 800-900 pounds.

That reminds me of when I made a hybrid in GT1 that looked EXACTLY like that. It would start slow and after a few seonds it would just boom to 180mph in the blink of an eye.
