Every car in my garage has a problem. The power drops to nothing even on the first lap even in Arcade mode. The car just slows lap after lap. It isn't wear or tuning. Is there a reset or is it a bug?

Are you using a wheel? If you are, check all your connections.

The problem discription is a bit vague, but check the brake indicator on your HUD. You might have duff brake button/trigger/pedal or something, meaning that the brakes are on. It doesn't take much brake to slow the car right down.

Or the the accelerator is not working - check the accelerator indicator as well!

I use triggers when I have to use DS3 - there was something broke in my left trigger that kept sticking the brakes on slightly. After a few taps, I got rid of it but there is a small piece of something rattling around inside the controller

If the OP is using a wheel, then my guess is he's experiencing what you just described. I'm on my second DFGT wheel and its begun to do exactly this. The brake light indicator bar is showing a bit of red, even after I come off the brake and go to full throttle. The plastic DFGT brakes have just worn out after all the miles I've subjected them to. If I lift up on the brake pedal a little, the red bar will go away, but it will shortly come back again in the next corner when I apply the brakes again. I'm afraid its time for another wheel.

Are they the same pedals as the old DFPro?

I have a DFP and use the sponge ball trick to help with no ABS driving - it gives better feel. I was thinking it might help if your brake pedal has gone a bit floppy? You might be able to get a bit more life out of it.

This should work. Or try a bungee?

I've had the same issue a couple times. People driving behind me told me my brake lights were flickering. Brake indicator coming on too. I took the base off and cleaned/tightened up the connections. Hit them with some WD40. Lots of debris gets in there too. Been over 3 months and it's still fine. I've done this twice and it's done the trick both times. Good luck.

At least they were behind you.

For me, since my brakes are on all the time, everyone is in front of me, even the AI!

I may try some WD40, and try to clean them a little before giving up on them.

Thanks,
GTsail

You'll probably have to disassemble the "pots" and use some isopropyl alcohol to clean the tracks (where the contacts run). If they are anything like mine, they'll have a fair bit of buildup on them.

I have same problem with G27. My brake indicator shows a few red bar after a while but disappears and comes back.

I have the same problem on mine. Sent a mail to the shop, and they are sending new pedals, and wheel :) But mine might be newer than your wheel (under 1 year).

I have repaired my pedals yesterday. I have found that ground wire (black) from breaking potentiometer was broken ( it looked burnt off ). I have soldered a new one + cleaned potentiometer inside with electrocleaner (selfevaporating). Now works just fine.
