Well heres the story of how my A6 with 194,000 miles on it, became pretty neat.
October 2011: My dad buys this 2.7t 6spd a6 as a daily
1 day later: The fuel pump goes out on it and it sits in the driveway broken for a week or so. My dad pays to get it fixed but it is coming up on a timing belt job.

November 2011:

I do the timing belt in my friends garage and get it done in a weekend.

December 2011:

My dad ordered some coil overs because stock suspension was too floaty for his liking.

Here's what it looked like when it was lowered 1.5 inches.

February 2012: As I drive the car more and more my dad offers to sell me the car and after mulling it over for a week or so I decide to buy it from him. I also get a tune put on it for 318hp 382ftlbs of torque.

March 2012: Now that car is mine I decide to put a4 titanium pkg wheels on it

April 2012: I get some '02+ taillights for it.

Just yesterday I decide to put my deck lid spoiler on and de badge the back of it.

Heres what it looked like today out in the rain.

Hope you like the progress from what it was.

Looks nice! Not really an Audi fan myself, but I love that shape A6.

I think it'd look good with clear repeaters, and maybe tinted lights, or maybe go for a 'blacked out' look. But that's just my personal opinion!

Really nice car, my dad had the same in the 2.5 tdi a few years back. Now he has the 2005 model and ordered the new one in the 3.0tdi with 8 gears and a mindblowing 650NM

I looks good and if driven properly you can easily get an other 100000 miles on it.

If you look to upgrade a bit, look at the S6+ bodyparts.

On the liscence plate, I would stay on the US model, but that is because it is rare over here as is the Euro plate over there.

The 2.7 is quite upgradable to, either with Audi OEM parts or custom kits. Nice engine

It has an apr tune on it currently so 318hp and 382ftlbs of torque. The 2.7 is a good engine and it even has the original turbos on it. They burn a bit of oil but for 199520 miles that are on it currently it's not bad at all.

Put new brakes on her yesterday. Fresh rotors all the way around and my back calipers were stuck so they were actually on and thats why my rotors were warped and it didn't stop worth a ****.

Original engine, turbos, and clutch. Go Audi!

Very nice A6 Chris, good thing your keeping it clean and not going for stupid hellaflush,
jdm tight look with ridiculous camber on all wheels. 👍

It is nearly impossible around here to have a super flush car without ripping the subframe out from under it.

True, the roads are terrible. Full of potholes.

That's a fantastically good looking car. It appears brand new, very hard to believe it has 200,000 miles on it.

I try to keep it clean. Just as long as I don't park it next to an RS6 it looks fantastic.

R1600Turbo
200k on the original clutch?

Yep. Slave cylinder was replaced at 176k. I got a new ECS stage 1 with balanced rs4 flywheel sitting in a box just need the time to put it in.

Yep soon enough the clutch will be going in I just need a 6-7 hour window at the shop where a lift is open. 👍

Big Update!
I've only got a few pictures of the work but it's now got:
New KO-3 Turbos
XS Tuning catless downpipes 3"
Custom Tune in progress
New clutch (the one pictured is my old one with 200k on it)
Right now its just straight dump from the down pipe until my new resonators and rest of the piping comes. It is LOUD. And it backfires like a bawss on decel.

Okay so here is the finished product with the new exhaust and everything. The XS tuning people never ended up sending the exhaust so my dad was nice enough to let me use the stock RS6 exhaust.
