Cross Country Snowmobile racing is never televised. It is usually sponsered by a snowmobile club, and the track winds its way through hills, valleys and trees. Very similar to Rally racing. The one most ammazing difference is the weight to power ratio of the vehicles. A snowmobile weighs about 500 lbs. and can easily put out 135 h.p. Some cases much more. If you're lucky enough to actually compete, it's a wild ass adrenaline filled experience.
