Mods lock please. Again. You see, I started this with the foolish assumption that there would be no unforseen delays. Of course, everything I had to do before this took longer than I thought, and I have sever things to do before I would have finished. And I would have had to finish the race by 9:00 - 9:30 PM for reasons I will not describe. That was looking extremely unlikely.
The status updates alone were taking too much time. The oil mod and prematurely dead tires were making it an unsatisfying and uncertain race, and it wouldn't have been worth it to keep on.
One of these days I WILL finish an endurance race, and report on it!
Maybe next weekend, when I actually have time to do it.
