Sorry for a little of a necro bump, but still Im in the same spot.

I have the standard CSL Elite pedals, but I would like to upgrade so I would have a brake loadcell, still Im getting tempted to buy the clubsport v3 pedals, so are they actually worth paying ~170 euro more(I believe I could get 50-60 euro for the csl elite pedals if I decide to sell them)?
375 euro for clubsport v3 vs 155 euro for csl elite loadcell

Is the difference so big to justify the 170 euro which are quite a lot of money. Apart from the brake pedal is the throttle pedal also way better?
I really love the look of clubsport pedals still I'm not sure about paying so much extra for the pedal vibration feature.
I'm not using the clutch pedal so I wouldnt be considering it as a pro/con.

I prefer the CSL E because you dont need tools to change out the stiffness of the brake pedal. Customizing the brake with the V3 takes tools and some time.

I really love the CLS LC setup. I was thinking about gettin the V3 but I think it makes a lot more sense to wait and see what Fanatec comes up with for Podium series peddles.

Well cant complain I've won Fanatec/Pcars contest and grabbed Clubsport Pedals :) Feel great so far.

Well on V3 its tool less just rotating the 'stiffness adjuster' behind the pedal, you can do it with hand.

That doesnt work as well if you use the brake performance kit, which will make the V3brake pedal more similar to the CSLE

I am thinking of upgrading my G27 pedals to the CSL LC. But i am not sure wether it works on PS4 with the CPX adapter. Can anyone confirm it works ?

What is your wheel?

I have a CPX adpater and it only works with TM wheels and not Logitech wheels.
Ah yeah forgot to mention i have a T300, currently have the G27 pedals hooked to the T300 base with a ricmotech adapter.

But i found out the CPX adapter isn't available anymore, so i am gonna need a drivehub am i correct ? Will FFB and feel be exactly the same on the T300 if connected trough a drivehub ?

It should be. For TM wheels they just reroute signals I believe.

Thanks !

I think i am gonna try that then. I've been using the G27 pedals for over 8 years since they released. They have been good to me and i have been able to get good results out of them with the GTEYE brake spring (couple top10's and even #1 once) but i am hoping a load cell brake will help me bridge or at least close that last 0.5-1.5 seconds to the very top end. And hope they will give more confidence and consistency on the brakes especially on iRacing where i never felt super confident on the brakes with a potentiometer.

Just ordered the CSL Elite LC pedals. Very excited to make the jump to a loadcell brake :gtpflag:

I got my CSL LC pedal set in the mail yesterday. Awesome set of pedals imo. Ive been playing around with them on iRacing in the F3 car and i already dropped half a second of my lap time and feeling way more confident and in control on the brakes. I now feel stupid for not getting load cell pedals sooner lol

Was a bit awkward the first laps but i am getting adjusted and reprogramming my brain sooner then i thought, its just a more natural way of doing things.

I expected i would have liked that foam piece to give that bit of travel like i was used to but i quickly took that out and went with a hard pedal. I now have 2×95 2×85 and 2×65 on there with the pressure set to 70kg force in the driver. Open to any setup recommendations though.

Those V3 look very nice as well of course but coming from G27 pedals the CSL LC are a HUGE upgrade imo and the pricing is still pretty decent.

Hey people,

I've got a Thrustmaster TGT but really tempted at loadcell brake. If I got the Fanatec CSL Elite pedals with loadcell, would it connect straight in to the TGT and work? Or do I need a drive hub?

Thanks

Tom

If you use the TGT on PS4 in GT -mode you will need a CPX Adapter. If you use the T-GT in "other"mode you can use a drivehub.

Yeah I did look at the Ricmotech but was thinking I might like a bit more peddle travel. I may get one if that's the only option though.

Yeah I saw that mate :). Will order one in January. Are you running a loadcell?

I used to have T3P-GT pedals with Loadcell. Now I have CSL-Elite with LC and CPX adapter. The T3p-gt Loadcell mod has less travel but works great. The CSL-E does have the option for more travel, but will feel a but weird and a bit unnatural. I actually ended up setting my brake with only a little more travel then when I had the Mod for T3p-gt.

Also you can creat a larger deadzone with the mod by cutting/shaving a little off the top of the rubber stop.

Like the guy said in the ISR video early in the thread, pedal sets are great. I bought both sets when I got my CSL Elite wheel as I knew I had to find out which would work. I'd honestly say I prefer the performance of the CSP v3 with a 51% majority. That being said, it's impossible to direct mount CSP v3's into a rig, they HAVE to stay together on its base.

Thats something I had to find out first-hand as I've never owned any other CSPs before. The option to direct mount my pedals is paramount to my comfort because I'm so tall and lanky; raising my feet up a few inches changes everything, in a bad way.

All that said, the CSL Elite pedals are sublime, especially in AC. I can do things in AC that I can't do in GTS like late braking, threshold braking and even trailbraking is easier. It all really comes to life in AC. Save the money and get the CSL Elites is what I say :)

I use the T-GT and just ordered the V3 pedals with brake performance kit which are supposed to be delivered later this week. I also ordered the Drivehub and thought that I would only need to run the pedals through it to play GT Sport and would just leave the wheel connected directly to PS4 pro in GT mode. Would this not be the case?

No. You cant seperately connect pedals and a wheel to PS4. The wheel and pedals need to be connected to the drivehub and then to the PS4. The T-dfb feature of the TGT is an audiosignal that the drivehub can not convert or passthrough, so you will lose that feature. But if you dont need that feature that setup should work without problems.

Thanks for the reply PocketZeven -
Geez I thought I could just run the pedals with the drivehub though the "accessory port" and leave the T-GT connected directly to the PS4? You are saying that is not the case? if so, it kind of makes my upgrade to the T-GT from a T300 mostly worthless....

Not neccesarily. You can try to find a CPX adapter and remember you still have the T3PA pedals that came tith the TGT. Also all other games do not support T-DFB so you can use the drivehub without issue.

I'm the same opinion, T-DFB is great so I need load cell peddles that are compatible. I'm probably going to get the load cell mod for the t3pa peddles
