Cure for Oversteer Upon Exit?

I've been having trouble with FR cars and their tendency to oversteer upon exiting a corner, especially the ones that I add a lot of horsepower to.

Can someone tell me how to get rid of this or at least tone it down? I know how to tune for everything else (a little) thanks to the General Tuning Guide; this is the only thing I really don't know how to fix.

There are a few solutions to this, but which one will help is dependant on the reason for the oversteer.

Have you tuned the transmission and drive train? I normally start here. The LSD settings are very usefull to stop this if the car feels balanced already, alter the acceleration sensitivity until both rear tyres turn red as the same time coming out of the slower corners, if the outside turns red first, lower the setting, if the inside wheel turns red first increase the setting. I have found the sweetspot for most cars to be between 11 and 16, once this is optimized you can adjust the initial torque setting to create a little more oversteer or limit how much you get, higher value equals less oversteer.

Outside of this, you can soften the suspension at the rear, springs, dampers and arb, this should also work but if you have the car balanced for corner entry then focus more on front damper extension and rear compression, these are the settings which affect how quickly the weight is shifted to the rear of the car during acceleration.

You need to learn to steer the car with the throttle and brakes.. Figure that out and everything gets a lot easier.
 
@Thorin Cain & @oppositelock pretty much nailed all the settings you can tweak to reduce oversteer. I've found personally that lower ride heights in general induce understeer into the car. the rear toe can help keep the tires in check. negitive vaules increase exit grip but decrease entry grip positive values increase entry grip but reduce exit grip, and same rules just reversed for front end. My personal preferance as of late with toe settings is to run twice as much negitive front toe as negitive rear toe. this keeps the car turning in and keeps the car tail in check on the exit. You lose a bit of mid corner doing this but that can be compenstated for with dampers and springs.
@Motor City Hami has a great GT6 Tuning Guide that helped me get to grips :lol: with the corner exit issues I was having.
