What, I thought anarchy was thought to be a goal to strive for?

You should read Lord of the Flies if you haven't or again if you have.

When you have nothing but peace and love then the biggest guy in the room
will come over and give you some love for his piece of your food.

The fact is, there is always half of the group that only understand brut force.

lol, you really are a piece of work Wretch.

It never ceases to amaze me how living in not too insulated a world can lead to such different opinions.

It's merely perspective Slim and not really a judgement call so please don't take it personally.
We could probably drink a few beers together and make each other laugh...
...and what else is there? :)

I'm sure we could and we would definitely have lots to talk about!

I don't take anything personally on the interwebz and try not to in the 'real world' unless it's someone who means something to me.

Now I really am hurted...
...okay, maybe not too much. :)

Seriously, I wish the best for everyone except for those who would do me and those I care about real physical harm.

Them, I wish to kill without hesitation or fanfare.

I do enjoy good conversation and discussing possible solutions to the World's ills.
The problem is in the peaceful implimentation usually though.

Back to the topic at hand:
Drowning in floods flash or otherwise is a bummer and we just had it happen
locally to a bunch of campers about 7 miles from here not too long ago.

Just not much to do but say some kind wishes/prayers for the survivors
and to hope the recovery goes as quickly as possible.

It's not like that here. There's no bread, no milk, no produce, and very few items on the shelves or in freezers. Only 3 trucks have made it through in the past 2 weeks. Even my wife was almost in a punch-on yesterday because some stupid 🤬 of a woman wanted the bread that my wife had already in her trolley (and we only had 2 loaves which was what the limit was!) and she had eaten bread for the past 2 days whereas we hadn't had a sandwich in a week!! There's been punch-on's at other supermarkets because of the same issues, elderly are being pushed out of the way by greedy scumbags who only look out for themselves and aren't being Australian by not helping their fellow man.

I can completely understand that problems will arise after only getting 3 trucks in 2 weeks. It is the people that panic after 2 days that blow my mind.
Good luck in staying fed, hopefully the roads in and out of town arent too badly damaged.

I can't get milk and veg on the gold coast now. Everything goes through the markets in brisbane and gets trucked here. It's funny how simple it is to completely stop food supply.

Ditto, I'm also Gold Coast, no milk at all in the Supermarket here.

I thought it's odd. It's only like this because the supermarkets are locked into their supply chains and own warehouses. They don't think to look elsewhere.

What I mean by that is. Down in Lismore is the large Norco company, it's less than 2 hours drive. They are a massive dairy company and could truck milk + similar up here. But as I said the supermarkets are locked into their supply chain. If they actually felt the need to get stuff on the shelves, it could easily happen.

They'd make a lot of money if they did. They are probably locked in a contract with their supplier.

Can you spell greed with milk?

There's been a lot of rain lately around melbourne causing some flash flooding. Somehow, my street was safe, but I heard of friends who had their houses flooded to their waist.
