The alarming part, at least to me, is that whenever conflicting comments like this are posted, they aren't separated by years. They aren't even separated by months. In this case, it's a matter of hours.

Mind blowing.
There's always a tweet. 12 minutes is the thread U-turn record this week.

I know. It's almost as if being seen to be 'owning the libs' in a poorly thought out kneejerk reaction is more important than having your own considered opinion.

Tell me you've never watched Star Wars without actually saying it.

Edit: At his point I'm starting to think that this dude is a playing a very long parody game. Or maybe I'm giving him too much credit and he just really is that much of a biased idiot.

What a load of Sith...

Nick the Hutt is certainly letting the hate flow through him. I guess the only way his imaginary MAGA alpha males can win these days is in a galaxy far, far away.

He's trying to most appeal to Trump as his potential VP.

I don't see how Palpatine and the Galactic Empire is progressive at all. For example, despite all the alien species seen in Star Wars, the Empire was depicted as being entirely human. I bet they'd blame Toydarians for everything, too.

They are not, but the person that tweeted that is not too bright.

Consent is the worst.

Consent is "woke" now? Yeah I guess that tracks. Everything they don't like is woke and they hate consent.
This is fun.

"You know what the magic word, the only thing that matters in American sexual mores today is? One thing. You can do anything, the left will promote and understand and tolerate anything, as long as there is one element. Do you know what it is? Consent. If there is consent on both or all three or all four, however many are involved in the sex act, it's perfectly fine. Whatever it is. But if the left ever senses and smells that there's no consent in part of the equation then here come the rape police. But consent is the magic key to the left."
-- Rush "The Standard By Which All Goodness Is Measured" Limbaugh

Of course, he's expressed contempt for the concept of consent on other occasions as well.

"How many of you guys, in your own experience with women, have learned that "no" means "yes" if you know how to spot it? I'm probably--...the--...at--...let me tell you someth--...in this modern wor--...that is simply--...that's not tolerated. That would not be--...[incoherent]--...people aren't even gonna try to understand that one. I mean it used to be--...[incoherent]--...it was a cliche. It used to be part of the advice young boys were given. See that's what we gotta change. We...we...we have got to reprogram the way we raise men."

While I'm tooting my own tweets I know snitches are supposed to get stitches but the wheels of cancel culture apparently grind extremely slow if this notification I received this afternoon's any indication..

I don't know... sounds to me like this guy definitely has a race problem.
So I don't know much about black inventions or how big of a contribution they are to society, but I do know VoIP was pioneered by a black woman and there's zero chance society would be as functional today without that. Even if that's the only contribution (which it isn't I'm sure), it's still a pretty significant contribution.

Also, I think humans have been jiggling their asses since we became humans.

Yeahhhh, but they were probably black humans... :D

I was listening to jazz albums when I saw his tweet. Labelling an entire race as a problem is a problem.

Not to mention videogame cartridges were invented by a black man. I feel horrible that I can't remember his name atm, too, considering how much I love learning about the history of this sort of stuff.

As a Texan I hope he didn't write that tweet in an air conditioned room.

He'd probably be among the first to complain about months dedicated to celebrating the history and achievements of African-Americans.

While we're on this particular subject, let's not forget about this guy:

giphy.gif
He was the first person that sprung to my mind but I didn't imagine for one moment that the tweet author was of the particular mindset to consider his tenure a contributive achievement.

@MIE1992: Jerry Lawson. (Not the Persuasions' lead singer, before some wiseass horns in )

This is starting to resemble the "all right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?" line in Monty Python's Life Of Brian.

I dont know what to say about this 🤣🤣

Im now torn about listening to Kanye West. I have been listening to him for ages even buying his albums.

I feel like as fans did we embolden him or do we feel betrayed?
