CyberPunk 2077

This was supposed to be showing off acid rain conditions, but I wound up only focusing on the 911 in the only shot I took during the showers, so I edited this a bit (levels only).

Death Stranding reference.

I'm over 100 hours in now. I made it to the point of no return at around 40-odd hours or something like that (maybe 50?) and since then I've been doing side missions, gigs, discovering things, manipulating the RNG (find an epic or legendary, save, and reload until it's to my liking), KO'ing Cyberpsychos — the whole 2,077 yards. I refuse to end the game, which is really weird because I'm definitely doing a second playthrough immediately after.

As for cars, I'll start hunting a few but I've been spending money on cyberware, weapon and clothing mods, and clothes. As for the music, I switch between Royal Blue and Body Heat FM. I love Night City (the song) and Hole in the Sun. The latter is a real "I'm going to go into this [insert mission objective here] and shoot everyone to high hell" kind of a song.

I have a new favourite blunt weapon. Too bad I can't post pics in here as it's quite NSFW.

Just recorded a 2 minute video of me facing down about 15 enemies with it and one-hit-killed them all and I can’t even show anyone .

I wonder what that is...

Sadly i lost a few of my early iconic weapons early on when i realised to upgrade them later on you need to keep the original and theres no getting them back:ouch:

I happened to do the same thing, and was very disappointed when I found that out about crafting! I've also done it while mass-disassembling gear I didn't want, I would accidentally get trigger happy and wouldn't be paying attention fully and would only catch it right as the bar filled.

Maybe you guys can enlighten me, but for me upgrading and especially crafting weapons does not come easily and I was able to craft a total of 0 weapons I wanted (legendaries) and upgrade maybe 2 or 3. I just don't have enough components, even if I disassemble weapons I don't need. Granted, I was relatively low level on tech throughout the game (only got to 13 by the end), so I didn't have perks that reduce the costs by 20%, but it seems like unless you have those perks and high level of tech skill (or use some kind of a bug strategy that I haven't tried), crafting is very expensive. To me, seems like by the time I may be able to craft some kind of weapon, I already found another one that is much better compared to what I could craft.

I did not use any cheats/exploits/cheese methods to get cash/materials. I just did a lot of the NCPD stuff, sold everything that drops if it's not best-in-slot and used that to buy blueprints and materials. Esp. higher-tier events pay a lot of cash and high-level weapons pay good cash too. (2h of doing events nets me 100-150k eddies or something like that, which is enough for 3 blueprints or so and a pile of mats) Work your way to street cred level 50, so you can buy all the stuff from the vendors/ripperdocs. My build is a friggin' terminator. :D

Or in stead of selling them dismantle the weapons to 'materials'. Depending on the kind of weapon you get certain materials to be used for crafting.

I do this religiously and I still barely have any Legendary and Epic components. That doesn't cut it, for the most part, especially when you get towards the higher leveling in upgrading/crafting. The amount of components needed to simply upgrade my weapons right now is up there.

Dismantling a weapon usually gives me one epic component and a couple of rare/uncommon ones, and selling the weapon gives me enough credits to buy 3-4 epic components. Just make sure you do side missions and/or NCPD stuff in the higher level parts (danger level: high or very high) and money flows in really quickly.

Kind of fell behind and built up a small backlog:

I was messing around with this and wanted to make it really pop, so I ended up with what's above.

And replicated it here as best I could.

Johnny needs to stop blowing smoke in my face. Schmuck.

This side quest is something else, man...

bdLc8Ht.jpg

...And it all forks off from this one, which is also something else. I have to make the other decision in my second playthrough.

So far I've only had vehicles handed out from missions. I find the Apollo Scorpion bike to be the most usable and fun, though it could use a bit more top speed on the highways and outside of the city. It goes up to 137. That's plenty for most scenarios.

Sports cars can be a bit of a handful. I got the Quadra X9, which goes up to 190, but good luck stopping for a turn. The map is zoomed in too much for driving.

Also, I've been experiencing more game crashes. I've had a handful in Act 2 and beginning of Act 3. There was also a bit of a panic after one mission. I think I was in the designated slow zone and when I pressed the gas, the character just got out of the car.

Look, this is the point of the game I'm at now. I'm finishing any and all side quests, re-rolling weapons constantly, buying new blueprints, and clothes. What do you want from me?

There are other things I haven't tried yet but we won't go that deep. No one wants to see the fashion endgame any more than this.

There's a GTA and a Die Hard reference in this game. Do you people know what they are?

Just a quick pro tip for cyberpunk (and probably any game with dlss): if you enable dlss and you find game to be blurry, head to nvidia control panel, use custom 3d settings for application (for example cyberpunk2077.exe) and enable image sharpening, default values are fine. It makes game look sharper with dlss enabled. Sorry if it was posted before, but I just found out about this and holy moly game looks better now.

So after 150+ hours, I completed the final act and I have to say, I quite liked the ending I chose. I'll explore the others of course, but that was a good one. I thoroughly enjoy (still am!) this game and can't wait for the updates and DLC that's on the way.

Wound up with another backlog because I can't stop taking pictures in this game.

Just squatting with the dudes.

Defeated. Not only did I have to point at this mythical creature, I immediately uninstalled. There's no coming back from this.

The last two are older, goofier pictures.

Be careful not to upload videos of the dilly weapon through xbox/microsoft applications. You'll get an enforcement on them, like I did.

Weird that I'd get in trouble for uploading scenes that they allow on a game in the first place. I'd imagine that if I keep uploading, I'd eventually get some sort of ban.

Misty is super photogenic, especially in black and white — it's like it fits her or something.

Violence is A-OK though!

Funny thing, that. I have multiple videos of my Katana literally slicing groups of people into hundreds of body parts yet that seems ok even though extreme violence is also frowned upon. If its such an issue than they should be moderating this before hand rather than giving people infractions after the fact for using their hardware to record clips of games published on their system. Even more funny since I thought that Online aspects are considered unrated.

I don't know how I got all these legendary quickhacks, but my god a legendary contagion with all the stealth poison perks and a combat knife plus a lot of perks in cold blood turns you into an absolute beast. I barely shoot anyone at this point. Just one-tapping dudes with a tanto. Too cool. Stealth gameplay is really good if you play into the hands of the game. I've been too sneaky to remember to take screenshots for a while, though...

Remember to pick your free Caliburn (inside the same cave from the panam mission) you can find it in a container. View attachment 983651

I found this by happenstance as I wondered if anyone respawned in that tunnel. And there, in a container, clad in black with silver accents was this LFA V10-sounding, no-grip-having, can't-take-corners-at-speed-worth-a-damn, car.
