And at sundays I can be during the day. Working from Monday to Saturday 10AM to 19PM

PS: wooooah I missed doubleposting

Eddy you put your thumbs down!! "PS13 with a LS7".... just no!

Be quiet , V8's are the way to go massive angle all the way. I know they destroy ''Real drifting'' but it's about fun right? I think it's more fun drifting with a big V8 with massive Power and angle that you can controll with the power then Drifting a AE86 that you need to ''kick it'' to slide with a decent angle
But thats my opinion not yours ;)
I like big things :sly: not small things :ouch:

AE86's are awesome fun on the DFGT, my smash one around sometime soon.

Getting hyped for me and Nate's upcoming RE5 coop sesh, gonna beast it up till BTCC.

I have RE5 :embarrassed:

PS welsh... Get GT5 and a ps3 for tomorrow and you can join BTCC lol

I could watch that all night! I love the raw engine sounds!

Chris, leave now!

working on an old Marcos gt which had serious idleing problems. turns out, the needle that dallows the spray of petrol and reduces or increases it has actually snapped which means the engine is flooding or even at high revs, keeping the car at high revs and then just drowning it!.

Pain in the arse but needs must, i need to try find out what the donor engine was so i can find out the carb make. its a big v8 but thats all i know :(.

Only a little bit. I know the engine 4 stroke and 2 stroke cycle, suspension, tracking (a bit) , Removing clutch+flywheel and some other things.

One thing i forgot. Can do 3/4 of changing head gasket. Only done two. I get to a point where i'm just clueless.

Through college you know the cycles? suck squeeze bang blow? haha.

let me think about this Intake, Compression, Power and Exhaust? ;)

Trackings a doddle to do. The way they teach it in college is so complicated! the apprentice was trying to show me this way and that way and i was like ... WHAT! lol..

Line the front wheels up and have them both at 0 if the wheel is straight. any other way and I'm unhappy!
And don't ever leave a clutch/engine change sitting apart for too long. You start to forget what bolts go where haha. I remember ripping an X5 box apart and got the clutch 2 weeks later. Man that was hard as hell to remember what bolt goes where. Ended up putting casing bolts and starter bolts in the wrong places haha.. that was fun!

Head gaskets a doddle! You just take apart EVERYTHING connected to the head!. Plug the fuel pipes with a couple of bolts to hold the pressure and you're sorted. Oh and always empty the water out before you do anything haha!. After it's stripped, rub down the Block with some smooth sand paper while the head gets skimmed! Remember when torqueing the head that you work from the middle out and always to diagonals! never tighten them all up to there torque setting 1 by 1. finger tighten them all first then torque them.

I must admit half the stuff the guy tells me at college just goes over my head. I'd rather be at work all week than "wasting" a day at college.

Picked a career i actually like. Today was pretty poor, really wasn't up to it. Had to finish off head gasket. Got to take out the gear box tomorrow which i'm not really looking forward to. Just like any job you have crap days.

I'm not gonna lie. In a garage I've had more bad days than good. Sometimes everything just seems to go well for you but you're having a bad day regardless.

Gearboxes can be the most relaxing and easy jobs to do. Everyone expects a gearbox to take forever for some reason. Seen as a big job :s.

Is you're boss 1 of these guys who is constantly saying "is it nearly done" ?

Is this your's Chris?

Haa my boss doesn't know much about the mechanical side, his pretty much always in the body shop. Lucky enough. Although the guy i work with does drive me insane. His always going on do this do that then repeats himself. Mind you my boss does that lol. Must be a old thing. One thing just does piss me off when i pick up a spanner and it doesn't fit he goes "oh you should now the sizes by now". I'm tempted to say shut up, half the time you guess the size you two faced prick. But nope i'm nice. ;)

Haha.. half the time i take what I think it might be. I generally guess right but say it's a 13, I'll take a 12, 13 and 14 because you never know haha. You should do the same young in' ;). but you should actually know the sizes lol, If you have half a brain, it's easy to pick up.

I do know the sizes just sometimes you think oh that's a 13 then it turns out to be a 10. If i was working alone i would do the job simple enough. He keeps slowing me down in a way.

Aye iI get what you mean. I like working together when It's a slow day and I can relax and have a laugh but other than that, I don't like working with people nor do I want people working together.

I would rather work with the other mechanic who actually likes to get it done. He'll work with me for a bit then gives me a list to do then goes sorts out another car. Hating when someone is always watching over you. Really annoying. Hopefully soon i can have a bit more freedom. Haa

Aww someone watching you're every move is annoying. but I can get away with making mistakes! not that i do though! I do now and then but it's always little silly things! Worst I've ever done is cracked a K-Series engines Cylinder head! lol I couldn't get the camshaft to turn tso clever me wedged a big lever between it and the aluminium case and cracked it. Thankfully, it was cracked in 4 other places :D

Yeah I suppose it's just about trust!

If you make a mistake, don't hide it nor let it lie untold until you feel the boss is in a good mood or what . Just get it over with! The quicker you accept you've made a mistake, the quicker it can be resolved and owning up to ewhatever you break, mistakes, and even just doing exactly what you're told earns this. trust me lol i've had all these issues before!
