hmmm... I'd just keep the old engine and slap 2 webber 40 carbs on that bad boy and bam.. You have the absolutely gorgeous sound of the 2 carbs being used <3

Huge carbs are great!

You should get an XR2 MK2.

Great 1.6 engine that can demolish most 2.0 litre these days and adding a Carb upgrade just increases the immense experience even more. then you get into the XR2 Turbo which is just insane. The build I done on 1 of those things was just mesmerising.. It's so fast! All you do is just alter the Carbs and the Manifold and bam, its a turbo.. No need for all this mapping etc crap.

So yeah, Buy an XR2 :)

Im driving an Audi A4 1.9 TDI 99' from my mom's and an Opel Astra Caravan 1.4 16v 01' from my stepdad. Love driving them both. I'm now considering on buying a Seat Ibiza 6k2 1.9 TDI sport from 2000 with 110hp

Alex. Never mind the Golf. Buy an Aventador!. I had 1 in today and took it up to Glasgow so I could go get my MacBook fixed and ZOMMMMMGGGGGGg... <3.

So yeah, buy 1 of those :D But put Carbs on it...

MW3 with a bottle og Dack Janiels is not a good mix!

it can make for good drinking games though!

I think it's more like.. being in the right place to see one lol.. I work on those kinda cars all day.. unfortunately dont own anything like that.. YET lol

Hah, well i can't brag about anything near that myself - impossible when living in the most expensive country when it comes to owning a car.. It's killing me slowly :nervous:

It's literally the worlds most expensive country for car owners, no kidding. It's terrible, i feel like im being ripped of when i see cars equivalent of mine, for sale on mobile.de, at half the price of what payed for mine. And they are even in a better state.

Meanwhile in the UK here petrol is near £1.40 a bloody litre and insurance on any cheap first car is round the £10,000 a year mark...and by cheap I mean a perfectly road legal £250 car :irked:

Petrol is a joke.. (Petrol card, YAYYY)... And insurance isnt that bad.. just bs them and say your car will be stored away and blah blah and you will be doing low mileage blah blah and all is well.

Well it's not only the cars which are expensive, insurance and petrol too, we're having at least the equivalent of 1.50 pounds a litre. Just tried to compare prices with Britain at BMW's sites for a BMW 328 steptronic, the difference is around 45.000 pounds!

Though the £10.000 insurance sounds just reckless.

Is it not possible for you to just go to Germany and buy a car or is there some law against it? Because I know that if I was being ripped off that badly, I'd look else where.

Here in the U.S, cars are pretty cheap. The insurance is especially cheap, my 350's insurance cost what? 150 pounds a month?

That's what, £1800 per year? Its not that cheap. Over here I'm quoted £1200 per year for commercials (anything without back seats) with my fathers insurance company blurd he has 9 vehicles insured with them. I saw a commercial supra for sale before. Oh and every commercial is the same price.

i know a guy who will do you a deal on a white S5 ;)

That's you isn't it? You must be making a lot of money cause you don't have that car long.

Well yeah we can import cars from Germany, no problem there; we just have to pay the taxes for it then, which means you will probably get a car in a better state, but conclusively it will cost about the same. Maybe you can save a couple of thousands DKK, but it then you still have transport and such.

Anyway I'm considering to move in a couple of years or so. If my career is going to be related to cars, which i'd like of course, then there is no sense in staying around here.
