Hey guys looks like we did well again with some close battles! Can't wait to see the footage.

I do apologise so much for not being there, Went to look at a Chimaera today and got stuck in M6 traffic on the way home so didn't get back into London until gone 9pm! I emailed GTWelsh but i'm not sure he managed to pass on the message so I do apologise once again.

Anyhow, for those that are interested went to see this:

and providing it passes HPI check and MOT then I will be picking it up next weekend :)
 
know what the funny thing is? thats in the top gear budget they did on tonights show. just proves you do get good buys!. Yeah they gave our guys a good run for there money with more the 8/9 OMT runs! The judging was very hard but the guys were happy so i'm happy :)

Nice car, but i wouldnt buy a tvr, their VERY unreliable. I'd go for something like a supra for that money. Or if you want a convertable i would go for a m3 or something. :)
 
Very nice battle tonight guys, basically turned into "Who fails the perfect line looses" haha, best competition so far. Cant wait for the footy! The connection ran beautifully, happy to use spank as a host again XD

Just seen TG and yes I can confirm it is alot of car for the money, I think around £40k new. Also having seen the back catalogue of receipts its also going to cost a fair bit to run, even with me being able to most of the work myself. And if I do buy this one then a respray will be on the cards - It's kinda a bit too pink....

Also one of the chaps I was at Le Mans with has a BMW 850 and it got more attention than the Audi R8 two pitches down from us!

If it was my daily driver I probably wouldn't look at a TVR. However I live in London where I have a company car, my Mrs' MX-5 and streetcars so the TVR would probably only do about 3000 miles a year. I can also do most mechanical work myself so not so worried about that.

Yes there are other cars for that money but I've always wanted a TVR, It's a simple FR, no aids, pure drivers car which is what I love. Supras are whales and a bit too 'max power' for me these days, and M3 would be nice but I'm wanting a V8.
 
Or we just do them when we can? Like henever the 2 havent battled and someone else is on to judge they can just go at it
