I'm not a good drifter, not even average. Was trying to get gold with skyline er34 '07, my best result was 2050 points. Tried for 15 minutes but my scores just were not consistent. Then I decided to try Genki Hyper Silvia with Shmo tune. Flew off the track in first attempt, second attempt got me gold with 2740 points.

As long as you get the gold and cash its all good.

The first thing anyone should do to get high scores is to keep the front wheels (while drifting) on PD's racing/driving line, and not the normal driving line which you can see (has a different shade of asphalt) on tracks. Second, try to hold the drift at about a 45ْ degree angle while at full throttle as much as you can. The rest is up to you, like how you initiate the first turn. What I did was go up to low 4th gear at the first section, do a 'scandinavian' flick to left-right-left, as soon as you're on the last left you should be facing the correct way press breaks hard, shift down to 3rd and full throttle, hold the drift to the inside of the middle of the track (45ْ with front of car on PD's racing/driving line) to set yourself up for the long right sweep. This is to my settings of course.

It's annoying how you lose or not get a high score past the 45ْ angle point. But it's like that in all GT drifting events.

Over 2 hours I've been trying to get gold tonight. I've clocked something like 140kms and the best I can manage is 2368 points. I hate drifting 🤬

My god I hate drifting. It's completely evil. Takes me forever to gold the regular drift events with 3 sectors. This one was just vicious.

I am a terrible drifter. I have no idea on good cars or any technique at all.

Used the premium R34 Blitz car. 45 minutes and a masive amount of bad language later finally golded this event.

Not looking forward to the next one that is for sure.
