Precursor to the later Avanzato R that is featured in GT6, the L200 chassis TR-XX is the usual Kei car fare; a tiny, 660cc, 63 BHP city car.
However, the TR-XX is interesting for a number of reasons, especially for a little car made in the early 90s. Like a lot of other Kei cars, it's turbocharged to make it especially nippy in town as well as cut down on fuel consumption and emissions. The X4 model had the advantage of extra traction if needed, via a selectable 4WD system, operated via a lever inside the cabin.
The car also had a range of optional extras that weren't available in cars three times its size and price, or even the newest supercars from the period. These included full air conditioning and climate control, automatic wipers and headlights, central locking, electric mirrors, electric windows, remote controlled in-car stereo with extra amps, reversing warning chime and even four wheel steering.
