Had FL until the last lap. I braked early for T3. Cost me .3 to lose that FL.
Still, pulled away from that RCZ and gained on the NSX.
Textbook brake in a straight-line, in-and-out cornering and stay on the racing line. Good stuff.

Trying to get CRB at interlagos as Nations thoroughly violated my SR. Driving slow to avoid everyone and someone spins lap 1, lap 2 I slow to avoid a bottleneck in the Senna S, blasted off from behind and 2 second penalty. 2 laps later guy in front spins off at turn 1, rejoins at speed straight across the bottom of the hill. Direct hit and another penalty. Driving super conservative and defensive from the rear amd my SR went down to B. :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
:censored:The people in my Nations race and :censored:the penalty system that gives me a penalty for that re entry garbage. Now trying no qually at SR B, starting p13 with a bunch of E/B and lower drivers.:nervous:

It's a shame you can't see what car was used to set every time, not just top 10. I don't really get on with the RCZ but suspect it's so advantageous it has to be used.
IMO they should have an option to show the best times set with each eligible vehicle for a given event. So if you don’t like one car, you could pick an alternative that may have an identical best time.

I don't know what's happening but this evenings race C's have delivered some of the most brutal knock 'em down and drag 'em out beatdowns I've ever been involved in!
Having said that I dropped from 4th Q to finish 7th in my last attempt and I was thoroughly grateful that I managed to do that well. Nothing particularly dirty going on out there, but the fierceness of the competition is off the charts. I need a break, might try again later.

I believe that's what they call Dante's 63rd level of hell.
Good luck bud.

Through pit at first lap to get a safe zone

Yup. Fighting like hell to ride the brake and avoid everyone. Not working. 3 races in and actually gone SR done total. But close to a chance at S again now. This is brutal. I have used the pit maneuver twice now, but so many wrecking heroes think their GTR or WRX can pass me because I am avoiding everyone else super cautiously, then I get hit. Had 2 come off the Senna S last race. Missed both, but just. Still got barged twice to make my gains tiny. :banghead::banghead::D

Finally got one! Was still hit twice by cars spinning back on track, but managed the CRB. SR still ugly at 86 but think I can top it out before tomorrow. This day of chaos is finally over!!

I tried for 10 laps with McLaren which I'm quite used to and thought it would be quite fast. Then tried the RCZ which I have never used and I've only ever did a few hundred miles in FF cars ever...

I was 1 sec faster on my first lap! Peugeot should definitely enter this car in the Blancpain GT4 championship and also the British GT championship!

The Atenza feels really awkward during race on Interlagos - I don't know what it is but it loses grip really easily, also the understeer is a bit too much IMO, don't know how to properly drive it, as soon as I start releasing the brakes on T1 and the rear snaps a bit, then when I press on the gas on T3 the understeer comes....really strange

Maybe. I started lapping yesterday with the RCZ and kind of hated it. After a while I thought to myself, "There has to be something better than this," and started playing around with different Gr 4 cars. I was almost immediately a second faster with the Bugati than I was in the RCZ. Still not fast comparatively but it was more enjoyable to drive, for me. I'll go back and try the RCZ again today and see if it still holds up but at least there's options in my head now.

Yeah, I used to feel like Interlagos was one of my better tracks. Now in the Atenza I'm struggling to keep up with the pack without binning it. Part of that is the increased DR, I know but I also don't quite get how this car and track go together.

Sounds like you may be trying to enter corners a bit too fast, or trying to accelerate too early, and possible gearing down to quickly. The Atenza is very stable and corners really well, try entering the corners a bit slower and look to see yourself up for a good exit instead. Also, try waiting a bit longer to downshift, if the car is banging the limiter when downshifting you’re doing it too early and locking up the rear tires most likely, which would explain the rear stepping out. :)

A lap video would answer these questions and allow us to help you out more.

Well, i just did 12 race A in a row. I must say the great racing is still happening, for me at least. The first few were run away wins, aparently my qt is faster than it feels lol, But the competition picked up quick. Soon enough i was starting second or third and having great, hard, but clean races to stay on the podium. I should probably do some real life stuff now. It's just so nice to have the races I've been fortunate enough to have the last couple weeks. It really does help to be in good crowds and or to know more than half the room so the the trash gets sorted out quickly lol

3 A races yesterday. Had a great time. I got a win at the last corner. Thanks to @Mistah_MCA and @Pigems because I was having a hard time with track/car combo and decided to used their ghosts to improve my QT, around 2+ seconds of improvement. I’m still almost 3 seconds of difference from their times  but i did some progress.

General suggestions from others were helpful.

Well, I guess this is me at my worst. Not trying to hurt anyone at all, but being way too aggressive. It's tough starting last at Willow, because there aren't many opportunities to make clean passes. I just wanted to see if I could squeeze through some tight holes (no pun intended ), and make some forward progress. All I did was make myself look bad. When I punted the guy at turn 1, I was thinking "should I try to go low and out-brake him?". By the time I decided that that's what I'll do, it was too late. As soon as I hit him, I felt like a jerk, so I jammed on the handbrake to spin myself out and let everyone go by.

I ended up hitting some jumps, then apologizing to the whole room. :guilty:

Yeah...if you don't learn the Atenza this week then you are in for a long week in race C. I don't think anything can really compete with it and it will turn out to be a one make race eventually. It is just the best car for that track/race combo. I started out with the R8 and was literally the slowest car on the track and finished next to last. Since I switched to the Atenza I am running close to the front runners every time and gapping those behind fairly easily if they are not in an Atenza. They definitely did something to that car, it was never faster than an R8 at Interlagos. Well either that or they tuned down the R8.

Decided to use the Daily Races to bring my SR back up after losing 20 SR points thanks to a mess of a Nations FIA race this afternoon. Being in an A-A lobby was weird because there were so many different DRs, ranging from A to D. I didn't put much effort into qualifying and chose the AMG GT3 because it's the car I used when Interlagos was a Race B option, and I ended up 8th on the grid. After some guy decided to pit maneuver me I decided to just let the whole field through so I can focus on rebuilding my SR and not end up losing more SR, and despite being last I still ended up back in 8th place by race's end, with most of my overtakes being from people running wide/getting poor exits through corners. The field spread was so bad, I was 40s behind 1st place, and over half the field was still behind me.

I was back up to an S SR but I went one more time to bring it back to 99, and this time I was in a proper lobby, and I got eaten alive, qualifying 17th. On lap 5 I misjudged my throttle and went into the grass before the final corner and spent most of the race in 20th around 3.5s off a pack containing 16th-19th. Something happened though and a guy punted another guy off and got a 2s penalty, and with the shenanigans that occurred I was within a second of the group and claimed 18th place.

I lost 2000 DR today but honestly I'm fine with that, I'm still well within the A DR range (35k). Now that I've restored my SR though it's back to practicing for the Manufacturer's race tomorrow.

I have to say it looks like sad but inevitable network lag issues. Both racing hard, not the greatest moves, but in the moment certain that they are clean, just doesn't wash out right through lag. Hard to prevent with the setup. Both had opportunistic but low percentage moves risking contact. Someone was going to be a loser of that equation eventually. Just both try to learn and go ahead from there. Sucks, but with the 2 different replays we see you were both in 2 different races due to ping
Agree with all of this. Inevitable, and at various points either driver could have been taken out. Low percentage moves by both drivers.
