Is anyone else finding Interlagos more slippery today than yesterday? I've mainly used the R8 LMS and I slid out 3 - 4 times around tight hairpins and T1 when I never had problems over the last few days. Wondering whether I've gone crazy or I got worse overnight, I asked others in my lobby and several agreed that it felt different.

personally I was unaware interlagos had any grip

Getting worked by penalties today. First two races both times got a contact penalty for ever so slightly rubbing bumper of car ahead, off a turn. Like seriously, we barely touched. First race a 1 sec, second race, 2 seconds!!!! Wtf. Might be a short day at the track if this keeps going.

Used the Megane versus the Pepe le'Pewgeots. Oh those skunk de'Peus don't like it, when your faster than them in and out of corners!

Got pushed off(A/S room) and lost about 4 spots. Motored back up through the field(on raw speed). Caught the car that pushed me off. It since then got a penalty. Passed it in the PZ and was catching the only other Megane(started two spots behind me) ahead to the finish. We were 9th & 10th.

Join with me people. Make those Pepe le'Pewgeots annoyed.:sly::cheers::gtpflag:

Check this out. I found an image that shows all of the Willow Springs tracks together.
They should go a little further uphill from Horse Thief Mile, and make a dirt track. That would be awesome! 👍

By the way, from this angle, Big Willow looks like an extremely easy track.

That reminds me of „It came from the desert“ 👍

How often do the daily races change? I was assuming daily (hence the name) but must be weekly?

I know the answer is in this thread but it's 15 pages long now man.

Got to say I have been enjoying race A this week. Had a few goes last night. 3 races in a row the same A/S driver starting behind me. First 2 races he rear ends me at turn 3 lap 1 to push me wide, and the second time it causes another car to wipe out for good. I pass him back both races clean, although on lap 3 the second race I lose it on the final turn and go wandering the desert. Third race I message at him directly to have a clean race. He does get inside on the big sweeping right so I let him by, then bump him gently on the exit of turn 3 and the exit to the downhill run to just get him slightly squirrelly and let him know how much of a pain it is. I get a much better run out of the final turn and pass him back down the straight. He was clean as a whistle the next 2 laps until he drifted wide on final turn exit last lap and fell back for the finish.

Pretty fun races for the most part, but why do these drivers feel like it is ok to keep bumping people off until you get them back. I watched him side bump people that got alongside trying to pass him, and his SR graph looks like a child scribbling so this isnt new to him. We definitely need some division among people who like contact and people who don't. Still love willow, such a tricky couple of turns that just keep the pucker factor high.

@RikkiGT-R the thread is really about 1800 pages long, @Famine just cuts it every week once all the regions roll over and everyone is up racing the new week. And yeah, it is all weekly now.

Is there a good spot to find all of the historical Daily Races? I post or page where each week's set of races is kept? I mean what track and car combos were on offer. Thanks.

I put my brake balance all the way to the rear and just had an awesome couple of races at Willow - managed 3rd and 4th place finishes and a fastest lap of 1:29.

Sadly after being rammed off a few race Cs I'm now a C/S, so I'll stick with Willow the rest of the week.

Next week's race C, what's the usual go to car for quali and then the race? Gtr and then Nsx for tyre wear?
I remember that NSX having the pace and grip for wins. Don't know if it's changed performance, since the update.

You can try this: https://www.gtplanet.net/tag/daily-races/

It only goes back a year, however, because we didn't actually keep track of them until February 2019. That was largely because the first two sets were about a week each, but then it shifted to daily and an article a day on it would have been madness. That changed back to weekly in July 2018, but we'd gone so long letting them just happen that we carried on letting them just happen

@Redneckchef is correct too. There's a huge thread called "Daily Race Discussion [Archive]". Each week when the new set goes up, I make an article, post it, merge it into this thread, and then shuffle the first few pages (which contain the week before last's races and discussion) into the archive thread. It means we're not linking a brand new article to 25,000 comments (which would be insane), and those people subscribed to this thread still get notifications from this thread.

If you want to scour the archive thread, there will be a mention of the first two weeks of weekly Daily Races (2 sets), then they change to daily on October 31 2017 (271 sets), then they change back to weekly on July 30 2018. There'll then be 28 more sets before our articles started on February 18 2019.

The Megane is my go-to for GP4. I refuse to use the RCZ, although I do love it's sweet handing GP3 kin.

I raced with a guy one day who's lobby intro message was something along the lines “90% Win Rate”, he did the same thing as soon as it was clear he wasn’t gonna win. Why brag about Wins/Ratio if you quit every time you don’t Win?
Added bonus to that strategy is it drops your DR so you get to race with bad drivers and noobs. Real champs, those types. Their parents must be proud.

@Mistah_MCA Thank you for the advice. I was running BB at 3 will try 4. Balancing the throttle and the brake through the last corner helps alot. BTW i watch all your track guides, they are super helpful. Feel under prepared if i havent seen them before entering any race :)

Being practicing a fair bit the last few days, feeling much better with the wheel now. Did a few race As with one victory and few podiums. Fun races but i find it very hard to overtake with this car track combo. Even if the person a ahead makes a mistake it hard to get a clean move done unless you fly past them on the straight.

Wll give race C a shot now. I have always loved interlagos as an F1 track, lets see how it translates into GTS.

Yep, means absolutely nothing when the lights go out

Hi! I gotta tell Im stubborn like a donkey:) On monday when new races came out I decided to set QT below 1:32 on Interlagos but not using META.
I was like: I cant do it? Just hold my beer and watch this!;) RCF prototype16 was my choice. That day I did 1:32.399 with optimal 1:32.090, so in theory I was close to my goal. Then tuesday and wendsday came so I focused on FIA. At last yesterday I decided to continue my mission. After hour and countless retry I give up... Best I could get was 1:32.401.... Then I picked Atenza. Guess what? Its really fast on this track:D On 5th lap I did 1:32.142 with optimal 1:31.8xx. And then gotta shut off ps4 cause wife reminded me that we are watching movie tonight;) So today I think Im gonna beat this 1:32... Dont be me, use META:)

Second Race C of the week.

That Beetle gets the patience award. I was behind it from Lap 6 to Lap 10. The Atenza I finished behind, was sliding every turn for the last half of the race. the Beetle kept showing the nose, but stayed patient. I stayed where I was to see what would happen.

We had pace, but the Atenza was getting worse. This allowed the penalty serving RCZ, that lost positions ahead of us and fell back, to catch us up, during Lap 10.
Lap 11, I get hit from the back in the infield and hit the Beetle, the Beetle spins off. Just wrong, man. That player was good.
At the end of the race, I told them , "Well done." He/She said thank you.

Wow! Watched replay. The RCZ hits me into the Beetle. As the Beetle spins into the path of the RCZ, it gets hit again.
At the last turn on the last lap, the Beetle gets alongside the RCZ up the hill. The RCZ... I'll post the video...

E: When in doubt, clear network cache. R8 grip level now seems back to 'normal.'
Can you do that on a ps4?

I love RBR.
This track is amazing. Not much time so done 7 races so far, won 6...
It's a really easy track.

And RCZ is far too OP. Thinking about testing TT Cup.
Is it worth it? Or just impossible to get a <1'37''00
