Hi All,

Thought we could use a separate thread to keep up with the latest Daily races and for people to share their qualify times + setups and car choices etc. I will be aiming to share some youtube videos of qualify laps and I'll even try to keep the first post up to date with any settings posted so people can find a baseline as fast as possible for the Group 4 and Group 3 race cars.

My first contribution is the Reno Clio @ Yamagiwa II - 2'07.0 which is a semi respectable time unless you are proper alien! The top Japanese guys are in the 2'05's but I have no idea how! My time was still good for a top 10 for now, but I'm sure the 2'06's is quite achievable with more seat time. Eitherway I didnt realize until 30 seconds into the lap how to turn on the HUD but still, hopefully it helps! I'll also turn off the music for the next one too

Feel free to add me on PSN - Small_Fryz. I will be doing quite a bit of racing over the next few months as I'm recovering from an operation which means I'm home a lot

I somehow got disconnected in the daily race with the Clio on Kyoto, which started 18 minutes ago. Hopefully it didn't cause any crashes, it happened right at the start of the race.

Yesterday I had my worst time so far with GTS. Jesus, the One Make Race in Interlagos with the Clios were a true demolition derby!

Manage to get a Pole Position and to start at the front of the grid (2nd - 4th) many times but the first corner were almost impossible to take it clean.

You could brake a little later and this car loves the apex

I shared my replay of my 2.06.184, tag search clio, 1make, daily and you should find it
Thanks mate, I noticed you held 4th gear through the bottom S bend and 5th gear down the back straight downhill S bends too. I gave the tips a go this morning and havn't yet improved my time but I can certainly see a mid 2'06 if I was to string it all together. All in all I'm not a big fan of FF cars but the racing is still great fun.

I've had a handfull of great racing this morning, Running the 4C @ Brands Hatch, qualify lap of 1'34.1 though improved that to a race fastest lap of 1'32.7. My lack of never playing GT6 is hurting me with some of these "new to me" tracks.

I really do enjoy Group 4 racing the most with the Group 3 a solid choice if the tracks are fun.

Getting to Driving Rank A is proving to be a challenge though, so far I'm stuck at B/S, with 19 races and 10 wins, 9 fastest laps and 5 poles. I can say though, if you can manage a consistent and mistake free race you will be surprised how many times you can beat "faster" drivers. With almost double the wins vs poles its actually quite common for the "leaders" to have slight issues.

Moved my DR/SR up tonight from D/B to C/A.

Clios were absolutely awful to drive on Yamigawa and just couldn't make any headway. Still scraped some Top 6 finishes despite rough driving.

Gr.4 at Brands GP was much better. 2 races that I did in the Veyron, I qualified 2nd and ran hard at the front. 1st race, I ran the leader in a TT Cup really hard until he started making mistakes, then things got tousy as he tried desperately to stop me passing. I eventually led the race until the last corner on the final lap where someone in another TT launched up my inside and stole the win from me.

2nd race was my most comfortable win yet. Passed the pole 4C into Druids, avoiding the melee behind, and cruised away to win by 10 seconds.

Interestingly we have 2 one make races and a Group 3 race today.

I'm staying well away from the first one, but the second with the Honda VGT and the group 3 should be a lot of fun!

I swear custom liveried cars are cursed. Out of all the races I've won, none have been with a custom livery. Won in the Z4 GT3 twice, won my first race out with the GT by Citroen Group 4 and won a one make in a Mazda Atenza. All without custom liveries...:odd:

Yesterday I had a good time with the One Make Races. The Kyoto Driving Park seems to be “anti first corner bombing” therefore if you manage to start on pole or P2, chances are good for you to have a clean race and win.

Last weekend I was kinda fighting to point the Renault Clio into the apexes, but once I got used to run it with zero TCS (it was on 1 before) and I adjusted the controller sensitivy to 4, somehow the little french brat become more driveable.

Gotta check the double One Make Races for today :)

Are we now gonna have 2 One Make Races options everyday?

Today (11/16/17) we have the Dragon Trail Seaside/Peugeot RCZ combo and a Tokyo Express/Daihatsu alternative. The 2nd option is a terrible and boring one if you ask me.

I really enjoy the dailies since the beginning,Especially the One Make races. Its so enjoyable driving this so called like Lots of people here calling them awful Cars. I can‘t understand why many people here don‘t like them. Every Car handles absolutely unique and has its own driving characteristics PD definitely made a great Job on them. In my opinion they are pretty challenging compared to Gr.4 and Gr3 Cars which drive like been on rails and is much less challenging.I Race everyday against the top10 drivers on the Scoreboard despite being 1-2 seconds slower.
