Another tricky one today; a Pace Setter at Havana Capitolio Pass in a Bugatti Chiron Sport. Quite a tall order to put together three consistently fast laps on a difficult track with this very difficult car!

Today's Daily is a Hot Lap at Brands Hatch GT in the rain, in a race-modified Supra. Not too difficult, as the Supra is pretty fast in the wet; just watch for the puddles on the back half of the course, particularly on the straight after the Sheene Curve, and stay on the outside line through Clark.
The new Weekly event is a tough one, though; a Hot Lap at the Nurbergring 24H layout, which combines the GP circuit with the Nordschleife. You can use any GT A car, including upgraded cars from your garage, so grab your favourite ride and let 'er rip.

Today is a Pace Setter at Monument Canyon Array Peak in a Lamborghini Diablo GTR touring car. A very fast layout in this car, with a lot of full-throttle sections and high-speed turns and chicanes; nailing your line through those is important, but so is getting through the hairpins. I found that first big hairpin to be unusually tricky, for some reason; kept losing big chunks of time through there by getting it just a bit wrong.

Today is a Hot Lap at Shanghai Henan Loop in a BMW M1 Procar. It's a little tail-happy on exit, so watch that you don't slide too far and bounce it off the walls. It also does not like to turn at all while braking, so don't drive too deep into the corners.

Today is a Hot Lap at the very short Knockhill National layout in a Mercedes-AMG GT R. Several tricky corners here for a fat Merc to handle, but the last turn through the cut-through is particularly evil; blind, off-camber, and tightens unexpectedly, plus it's not easy to line up the exit properly to avoid either cutting the track on the inside or running too wide on the exit and invalidating your time.

Today is a Hot Lap at Havana Malecon Loop in an Alpine A110S road car. Much easier to get this fun little car around this course than the Super Truck, for sure!

Today is a Pace Setter at Zhuhai in an Acura NSX GT3. Zhuhai has some tricky corners, but the last one is particularly tough; it's much slower and tighter than it looks, so be careful you don't run wide on the exit and ruin your session. The NSX is a little tail-happy if you give it too much gas and too much wheel at the same time, and it likes to slide the rears when trail-braking, so don't brake too late, and modulate that throttle carefully until you've got it lined up with your exit point.

Today's Daily event is a Hot Lap at the National layout of Sonoma, in a KTM X-Bow GT4. The X-Bow is surefooted in the wet, so you can attack the first sector pretty hard, all the way up the hill and to the carousel. However, the back half of the course is absolutely covered in standing water, so it's a very slippery experience, especially at the end of the drag strip, the last chicane, and the final corner.
The new weekly event is a Pace Setter at the Daytona road course in a Corvette C7.R GT car. This front-engined 'Vette is a bit tail-happy, so be careful through the tight slippery infield corners. It's very stable at high speed through the backstretch chicane, though; just watch the track limits through there.

Today's event is a Hot Lap at Fuji in a Skyline Super Silhouette. Really have to be careful of that snap oversteer in low gears when you hit that torque peak in the middle of the RPM range; getting through the technical final sector smoothly is a real challenge.

Today is a deceptively difficult Pace Setter at Sakitto Sprint in a Ginetta G40. This is a very light but very low-power car, and at this track you'll almost never use the brakes except just the slightest touch at a couple points on the track to put just enough weight on the front tyres to get around the corner. Most of the track is full throttle, with just a bit of lifting through some of the tighter corners. Picking the right lines to let you keep up as much speed as possible is critical, and even the slightest mistake will add a huge amount of time to your lap due to the lost momentum. On the other hand, not breathing the throttle quite as much as you should have in any of those few spots where it's necessary will cause you to run wide and ruin your whole run, and you only have ten attempts, so it's a tricky balance to find.

Today is a Hot Lap at the International layout of Dubai in a Ford GT road car. This thing is a bit of a clunky mess, managing to suffer from understeer and oversteer at the same time, so it's not easy to wrestle around Dubai's varied turns.

Today is a Pace Setter at Laguna Seca in a Nissan GTP ZX-Turbo. I'm pretty sure we've done this exact same event before, but it's still a fun one. The Nissan has a fair bit of understeer under acceleration, so "slower is faster" is the trick here; brake a bit early and roll through the apex with carefully modulated throttle. It can also be tail-happy at high RPMs in the lower gears, so watch for that on the slower corners, especially coming out of the final turn.
Also, did mine a bit earlier than usual today, so I'm currently enjoying a rare moment at the top of the PC standings with a 1:14.574 before all the folks who don't suck log in and knock me back down...

Today is a Hot Lap at the long Snetterton 300 layout in a Caterham SP/300.R. This light little P4 prototype is a bit slippery, but not too hard to handle. It does get very loose on braking, though, which is an issue in a couple places on this track, especially the final corner where that long full-throttle right-hand sweeper ends with a sharp 90-degree left; very hard to keep the car stable and get through that last turn smoothly.

Today is a Hot Lap at Willow Springs International in a Porsche 917/10 Can-Am. This car's rather loose through all these long curves, but watch out for a few spots where the camber changes abruptly and the car suddenly goes from oversteer to understeer in a flash.
The new Weekly event is a Hot Lap at Laguna Seca in a Mustang GT Racing. Even more understeer than the Nissan a couple days ago, but it's also much slower, so don't be fooled into braking too much.

Today is a Hot Lap at Nurburgring Sprint in an 2020 Acura NSX. Nothing too difficult, as the NSX handles very well; just be nice and smooth to avoid losing time due to sliding around, especially through that first awkward series of corners.

Today is a Pace Setter at the Texas roval in a BMW V12 LMR LMP GT car. I swear we've also done this exact event before as well, and not all that long ago; hope the normal events aren't spiraling down that ol' Breakout-at-Tuscany-in-a-Mustang recursive black hole now... Anyway, the V12 LMR is still as slippery as ever on the flat infield section, especially that last corner back onto the oval.

Today is a Hot Lap at Imola in a Lamborghini Veneno. Fun car to drive around this track; being a Lambo, it's got plenty of grip and can power through the turns fairly aggressively.

Today is a Pace Setter at Algarve in a Porsche 962C. Wheelspin is a big issue in this powerful prototype; turns 4 and 13 in particular bit me more than once, but it's possible to give it too much gas and wheel in a lot of places around the track and end up going for a spin.

Today is a Hot Lap at Mojave Gila Crest in a McLaren 570S. Not a big fan of the track or the car, honestly; both are rather awkward. One thing to watch out for is that you need to be on the brakes for the first corner basically as soon as you get control at the start (which definitely adds to the awkwardness as you try to deal with the rather odd entry angle the AI dumps you into...). Managing the understeer through the long corners is tricky; there aren't any straights on this track (unless you count the large banked curve section), so if you do get off line anywhere, it will throw you off for a good portion of the lap.

Today is a Hot Lap at Monza in a Camaro ZL1 GT4.R. This car is really too slow to be any fun at Monza, so this one's rather dull. Just be smooth through the chicanes and maximise your exit speeds for a fast lap.

Today is a Hot Lap at Tuscany Collina Town in a Viper ACR. A bit of a handful, very tail-happy under braking and a fair bit of wheelspin as well, but you can control the rotation nicely through Tuscany's hairpins once you get the hang of it, and it's a lot of fun. Just be careful not to slide it around too much in the uphill half of the course, or it'll cost you a lot of momentum and really hurt your times.

Today is a Pace Setter at Interlagos in the Ligier JS P3. I know we did this a couple months ago, so I guess these events really are starting to repeat. As before, don't overdrive turn one, or it'll put you off your line through turn two and ruin your momentum through the whole first sector. Be careful not to slide the rear around too much in the slower corners, especially the last tight corner before the long frontstretch.

Daily is a Hot Lap at the Nordschleife in a BAC Mono. This light little car has a tendency to understeer when you're on the gas, and the Green Hell's many bumps don't do its tight suspension any favours, so don't let it catch you out.
The new Weekly event is a Pace Setter at Imola in a Formula B. Pretty standard stuff; just be smooth through the slower corners where you don't have the downforce to help you.

Today is a Hot Lap at SUGO GP in the Evo VI. Despite the lack of grip and the silly body roll, this car is rather underpowered, so letting off the gas or touching the brakes are more about adjusting the weight transfer than about slowing down in most of the corners here.

Today is a Hot Lap at Zuhai in a BMW 320 TC. Very neutral handling for a BMW, so it's a pretty easy drive; even that tricky final corner isn't too tough to get just right.

Today is a long one; a Pace Setter at Hockenheimring Classic in a classic Lotus Type 72D Cosworth. Fairly tame for an old formula car, actually; just nail the chicanes well and keep it smooth through the stadium section where it gets a little slippery in the slower corners.

Much of the course is full-throttle in this car, or just letting off the gas a bit to set the car and scrub off a little speed, so the key is to avoid slowing down as much as possible. Just don't be caught out by those tricky long variable-radius corners; make sure you line 'em up right to hit the real apex, particularly the last turn.

Today is a Pace Setter at the tiny Monza Short in a Jag E-Type, in the rain. No particularly problematic puddles on this course, so it's just a matter of coping with the decreasing grip levels over three laps.
