Danger Ranger!

I know I have been like a ghost recently but some of you may have seen some of my previous threads. I sold my second gen MR2 a month or so ago (still have the AW11) and I have been literally all over the place trying to decide what was next. I went from wanting another sporty car to a family sedan and everything in between.

Finally I ended up buying a pickup truck.

Its a 1998 ranger XLT extra cab 4x4 with the 4.0 OHV and 5 speed automatic.

My automotive side is bi-polar with a bad case of ADD.

I've actually wanted a truck for a long time now. It drinks gas but its a lot more comfortable and practical than the MR2. Plus it can tow the MR2...

Some kid who knows nothing about cars. It felt wrong but I took his money anyway.

Now I'm either going to start repairing the aw11 over the winter... Or maybe save my money and buy a faster bike in the spring. Something around a liter maybe...

Rangers are great trucks. My grandfather has one with over 464,000 miles on it and still running very strong. Take care of it. Don't do too many reverse to drive, pedal to the floor's though. That will literally destroy the rear end on these trucks. Within a week I've seen 4 of those trucks come into the shop with that problem from idiots who do it.
