I'll try to run something today......been trying but i get so close to my time. I got to get more traction.......and less sliding.

BTW, are you guys using ASC or TC systems? I'm not using any of those electronics at all. I feel i am better without them. :D

milefile, you gonna post up a time, or should I just make the next race topic? I'll wait for you if you are still gonna post....we won't laugh at your time ;)

....Well, unless it's REALLY bad.

Slow down guys, and enjoy the scenery, eh?

I'll wait some more for milefile. BTW, I 1:10.012. After seeing I didn't break 10 on the lap, I proceeded to hit stuff. I thought for sure I had mid 9's, but meh. I think that loong curve that divides the track in 2 really killed me.

I won't even go and check the decimals... just put me in last place.

1:12.XXX :banghead:

Looking forward to a chance to redeem myself. What's the next race, Davey?

No, I don't use them. Two reasons:

1. They generally degrade performance.

2. More stuff to tune.

Tommykaira ZZ-II at Apricot Hill, tuning okay. Results so far:

1. pupik……......……………1:09.708
2. The_Masaru05….…….1:09.747
3. FuJi K…………......……..1:09.847
4. hedplanetearth………..1:09.878
5. Davey…………….....……1:10.012
6. askia47……....………….1:10.123
7. milefile……….....……….1:12.xxx

I got 1:09.641 on lap 20, after a couple previous laps in the 1:10.6xx range. There are so many spots on this track to make up a good bit of time when you are really hitting it just right, that it takes a while before you can put together a really good lap. I can even see a 1:09 flat lap being possible, since on that best lap I slowed a few mph too much in the first main corner, in the corner before the chicane, and didn't quite get up to speed for the run to the finish. Driving this car requires a good MR suspension setup, and then very delicate throttle and braking and turning so you don't upset it and maintain as much grip as you can. Although in the early esses I think I was fastest through throwing the car around a bit. And of course for the first main corner about the only way to go through is a controlled slide as you brake from 190mph to 80mph.
