Okay since Davey is too busy I have volunteered to keep the weekly race going. I made this new thread just to make sure everybody finds it.

This weeks race is: Denso Sard Supra on Seattle Circuit. Good Luck!

Okay, I'll give it a shot.

* (I must admit, Davey has handled posting and race administration fairly well for a 14 year old!)

Okay... To the best of my knowledge there were no points posted after the Mercedes race. Here are those results:

Fuji K........................1:11.0.....................9
The_Masaru05..........1:11.2....................8
askia47....................1:11.3.....................7
kurtis........................1:11.435.................6
pupik........................1:11.451.................5
Davey.......................1:11.4xx.................4
DaddyGary_2002......1:11.7....................3
hedplanetearth.........1.12.190................2
milefile.......................1:12.4....................1

And here are the results from the [R]Skyline on RRV (kinda sad, not many entries) :

maloot.....................1:00.007..................3
pupik.......................1:04.88....................1
milefile.....................1:03.025..................2

I tallied the scores in the way that seemed most fair. The top score is the number of participants. For instance, in the Mercedes race there were nine entries so the winner, Fuji K gets nine points. If there were 12 entries and he won he'd get 12 points. I did it this way because there is no consistent number of participants and so the winner and the looser would have a fair point spread.

As youcan see for the [R]Skyline race only three people partcipated so the winner gets three. The looser (me) always gets one point, no matter how many participants.

Another thing that needs attention, and I'd like feedback, is the top speed points Davey'd put in place. Trouble is, most people don't submit it so it's tough to keep track of. I simply left it out of these last two races. What do you think? If we continue it then everybody has to submit it and maybe your time is not counted unless you do. Or we just skip it alltogether.

So given those guidelines here are the total results so far:

1..............The_Masaru05.........53
2..............Davey......................48
3..............pupik.......................44
4..............milefile.....................40
4..............FuJi K.......................39
6..............askia47....................26
7..............hedplanetearth.........9
8..............Kurtis.........................6
9..............maloot.......................3
10............Daddy_Gary...............3

Does this look right to everybody? I hope I didn't miss anyone.

Okay then... let's see some times for that Supra in Seattle!

Just gave it a go at Seatle, pretty cool car/track combo, pulled out a 1:18:045 so far, but that was with a terrible first sector in it, so gonna keep on trying...

I can't complete one clean lap at Seattle. I have a 1:21.573 but there's better laps to come in next few days.

The "Staircase" is killing me.

So about my time with the Skyline.....no takers? I ran a best of 1:02.127 @ 198mph if that counts. Sorry i wasn't able to aubmit by time because i've been busy deer hunting (archery).

Any way, i'll be racing with my Supra!!! It's ok if i use the Cdma Cerumo ONE Supra right? It's basically the same as the Denso....

Just a toy but it looks like that.

If you're in the low 1:17's then you're right where i am.

You win the Cdma One Cerumo Supra GT in the GT500 Championships. It comes out randomly so you may not get it the first time around.

My current best is a 1:17:001 @ 184.4 mph. The last, quite slow section is the key to a good time in my opinion, you can easily win about half a second or more there.

That's my main problem. I keep spinning the rear out and smoking the tires. I think I'd be better off using digital acceleration on this one.

Hey Everyone!!
Just wanted to say that I'm sorry for missing the last couple of races. My wife and I have been helping her youngest sister that owns a small printing business, and I've been away from home. I don't know if I'll be able to enter this weeks race either, because I know that we'll be going back to help at the shop in the morning, and probably won't be back before Thanksgiving. Hope that everyone has a good and safe holiday. And I'll be back racing again shortly after the holiday.
