I probably would buy DLC on the first day of release if it's good enough - unlikely to happen though..

Like many already said, it's a bit of a rip-off seeing that these cars are already prepared on release, so why didn't they include them then? It's not only PD doing this but i hear T10 also.
If the DLC was produced after the game's release no problem, but this stinks a little.
So a day 1 patch is almost guarantee, but I doubt we will get all the planned content before January/February, if not later, and only then will we start to see DLC for GT6.
At least that was how they did in GT5 and I'm not seeing them changing politics as long as Kazunori-san is in charge of things..
Well that's the romantic explanation, but to me it looks like you selling 90% of the game at full price and charge extra for the other 10% at the same moment. How do you know it isn't something they are working on right up until the last minute and it's not ready in time to make it on the disc? Point is you don't know so why fret about it? If it's worth the pittance they charge for DLC buy it, if you don't like it don't buy it.

Not a PD insider sadly, but these practices are suspicious to say the least, and nowadays more and more developers do it that way.You missed my point entirely. It was a question, not a statement. There is no way to know if it's being worked on up until the last minute or if it's a blatant ripoff. If you don't know and you'll never know, why fret over it? If you find out DLC was in the can months ago and saved so Sony/PD could "ripoff" customers then sing it from the high heavens.
