Some time ago I made those very simple fakes of GT1 with the Windows Paint, daydreaming about how it would be if Polyphony came up with a sort of remake of the first Gran Turismo including these two tracks with the graphic model of GT1. It has not to be a complete remake of the game, maybe just as a "extension disc/10 years later" game for PSOne, or included with GT5 as a bonus. Perhaps with an option for loading cars from GT1 and GT2 by memory card and not having to include any car to save space for the Ring. Don't know. Just dreaming.

You should be working for the Polyphony Team. Maybe you can be in charge of making sure they get damage in GT5.

I'd just settle for having all the GT1 spec cars in GT5, complete with Race bodies and those 2 tracks as well as all the other tracks that GT has used over the series. Then we would have better graphics, the same cars as GT, the same tracks plus some as GT and with damage modelling and better AI as well.

Are they really going to have better AI? I would hate to have damage with the current "I'm taking the line I want ever if you are already there" AI.

**hijack mode** Yes but hopefully if some ai punk slams into you, it would mean they'll lose some of their handling or aerodynamics...all you'll have is a dented bumper, door, or rear quarter panel.

Thats how it should be...

Until GT4 came about, I always thought of Trial Mountain as a sort of "mini-Nurburgring", with it's ess-curves, Karrussel-like banked hairpin at the end of a straight, dark tunnels, and endless elevation changes.

Huh. See I always thought Grindelwald in GT2 resembles at least the SHAPE of Nürburgring. But I've never seen the actual Nurb track.
