Lmp is easy. I just didnt realize you turned tc off. I had my car tuned for that. So i had lots of fishtailing. Imo you should allow it. The cars run it irl anyway. Plus it doesn't make your car any faster as it retards the throttle.

TCS actually makes the car significantly slower. I will allow TCS only if the track is wet.
I understand LMP1 does indeed run TCS and no ABS (LMP2 is the opposite), but the TCS system in GT5 is too constricting. Forza and Shift is even worse, the actually does not turn if TCS is on.
I'd use if it was more like rFactor's TCS.
I'm trying to run them as many days as possible. Try 35-50 downforce and see how the car handles...

Another great day finished. I still need to equalize the GTE Am class better... and include several more cars... but I'm going to do that Friday since I'll have nothing but time that day. Tomorrow I'm going to record the 24 laps race and try to do something with it.

Made some tweaks to the R10 and ran a 1:32.5xx at Daytona just as you left. Not too bad with all that torque hard to put down.

That R10, if tuned correctly, is just as fast as any of the other LMPs. The thing also literally flies down the straights... Easily capable of doing 220 and pushes 225 with ease.
He hasn't gotten back to me yet... so AS OF NOW you're on Team Oreca...
NOTE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS
Be ready to set a hot lap, because there will be qualifying knockout rounds... there's got to be SOME room in GTE Am...

Sort of... All teams are factory based unless stated... so obviously...
Nissan would be "Team Nismo" (Team IMPUL if R32,R33, or R34)
Bentley would be... "Team Bentley UK"
and not surprisingly...
Dodge/Chrysler Viper would be... "Team Oreca," which brings an interesting point... since Oreca will tout two LMP's and two LMGTE Pro's
Hey, it just means that you don't need to do a knockout qualifier... which will be held this Sunday if needed.Lucky GTE Am only has 4 participants.
If a 5th participant shows up for LMGTE Am, your still safe, but LMP drops to only 5 participants instead of 6... which is tighter for me... and I have to really be careful because if it's only 5... I could be seeing 4 Peugeots in my mirror... and Daytona is NOT my best track.
I just blazed a 1'31.752 with the Audi R10 TDI non-stealth... only 0.05 seconds off of my Bentley's time of 1'31.704
djackson proposed a 1'31.4... but I don't think so...

Most of my previous ideas have not happened due to lack of participation...
Only league I have pulled a full season off with is IKA (International Karting Association). Although I've lost all of my original IKA tracks... I still have a YouTube video of one on my LastMartinFanLeft channel. This shouldn't happen this time though... I've got MORE than enough people. Usually I get 16 people signed up and like... 6 show up... if that. So, I'm getting as many people as possible.

Okay then. You are right when you say GTE Pro is very competitive. I can personally say that I've raced with every single one of those people are on my level... and I'm a halfway decent driver.
Knockout qualifying will happen for GTE Am as well... so don't think your safe...

Ford GT has been speculated to be a slow car. Maybe I'm the only one that can get very fast times with this car in this post-apocalyptic nightmare...

It really is, but I have been the only person to even get 1'43s at Daytona in the thing... and I almost beat my Merc's time and beat your RX-7's time 1'43.147

Im sure I could get better than tbe RX7 with the Ford as well. It just revs on forever at the top end. Its handling is amazing too. Probably the best GT car in the game.
