I am posting this to warn the few members of Monkey D that are starting trouble.

It has really been p!ssing me off lately that a small group of Monkey D members have swarmed to every new thread and posted the Ba-Jesus out of it. Maybe you think its cool to post one word answers or just a smilie face multiple times in each thread. Yes, I have posted just a smilies face before and one word answers, but only when it is the right time to do so (Not every post). You, the select group of Monkey D members, are like a plauge that needs to change there ways...

One last incident is the (DRIFT_SHIFT team thread). Not once, but twice did you rudely act like little babies in Man~I~Can~Drifts's thread.

We do not need you make Monkey D look bad...
PLEASE... GROW UP!!

Please do not post in this thread unless you have a well thought out and usefull reply...
 
Ok, I've noticed what you're talking about, but never considered it too serious. I figured it was just n00bs being n00bs. It obviously bothers other GTP members so I will speak up.

Think before you post. What you post reflects how people see you. If you post just a smiley and maybe one or two words, they're gonna think less of you, and your team. It makes you look simple and not too intelligent. On the other hand, if you were to put some time and thought into your posts and keeping things relevant, other members will think higher of you and those you represent. We use words to express ourselves. Reflect your intellignce by posting something time worthy.

I'm not saying you have to do this or that. I'm just saying, think about how other members see you, and whether or not that's how you want to be seen. I don't wanna enforce a bunch of rules and restrictions on my team. This whole thing is about fun. Having to follow a strict guideline of what you can or can not do isn't too fun. I'm just saying be considerate of other members.
 
Just thought I'd mention I also posted a similar message on the Monkey D thread (around page 102 I think), so I think most of them are aware of the issue now. Thanks battle_stage, I'm confident these guys can be more mature if they just put a little more thought into their posts.
 
I hope this finally clears up this nonsense. Thankyou Perg, Battle, and Exhaust, for bringing this to light.;)

I think i also disscussed this with mokey d in general (after perg's post). As lame as it may seem we are an "online community"... according to gtp rules and stuff... So we should be treating this site in that way... I do not care if you stand up for yourself when attacked, or if you are sick and tired of being put down in other forums becuase you drift. Giving people crap because they have dome something wrong will do nothing but perpetuate thier habit or drive them from this forum and site. I have been extremely irratated in the past by people on monkey d, member who make stupid posts, and those members outside of this forum who feel it is thier right to ridicule us, but not once have i tried to rid this board of anyone... I figure if someone is so bad they dont deserve to be here they will be banned...

Anyways ethix it shows that you care about your team (the post you made), and i think that people should listen to you.

Battle stage... consider the activity of newbs that was attacked recently and the activity of newbs that you dismiss as excuseable simply becuase you are on thier team... Is that right??? Does that justify anything???

So your point is... what? That it doesn't matter? That you should be allowed to do whatever you want, no matter how stupid or offensive? Or...?

The internet is a community with citizens, just like any other kind of human community. The fact that we will probably never meet face-to-face is irrelevant. Would you want to go to a public park where everybody argued all the time, acted rudely, threw trash and filth all around, and were generally immature jerkoffs?

I wouldn't. I doubt you would either.

If this community is going to be worth enjoying, it's going to take care and effort from everybody who comes here. It is a valid thing despite the fact that it only exists inside our computers. If you don't care enough to worry about the quality of this community, please find somewhere else to go.

Read what I posted bengee. I didn't dismiss anything. It never occured to me that they were a real problem. I said my piece, and I stand by that. Look above for my response to my team since it's clear you didn't read it thoroughly enough.

Not all the perpetrators are in Monkey D either, just thought I'd point that out and thanks to Super-Supra for driving my point home.
 
I was one of the people who was postin al the stuff. I was jsut in a really bad mood yesterday. I'm sorry for most of the things that i said and i hope i didn't hurt alot of peoples...feelings. So, i'm sorry and next time i do it, umm..something...
