Yeah for real, makes friends with somebody in a team, you'll nearly always find a good place to slide.

You can send me an FR if you like 👍

You can see in my signature that i try (most as possible) to run my own room, but there are less people that can join than i would like. One issue that happens to me (and i believe to most room owners) is that not everyone is compactible to everyone, or even the room as a whole. So its important to build your own networks and find good drifters that are compactible to yourself.

From my experience, it helps a lot if you use actual rooms rather then lounges and have fixed host on. Combined with a NAT 2 (or NAT 1) host with good connection speed, most of those problems seem to evaporate... 👍

I've found fixed host lobbies to be worse actually for some reason, and not to mention if the host has to leave everybody gets booted out :ouch:

Thats correct. I´ve took a long time to realize why private louges are better than single hosted rooms, but now i know how big is the diference. Also, my connection is set on NAT2, UPNP on and DL: 12 mbps UL: 1,2 mbps (not that big, but more than enough). Actualy, the problem comes up when there are friends from every place of the globe together... and the PSN are not so trustble as it should be. So the natural latency and the technicals issues about connections (not only PSN, but also not everyone is very neat about their connection signal cares) takes care of the whole strugle.

Resuming: Its not easy to mantain a top notch drift room. Not only by how to keep it healthy, but also about what options choose and how to menage it all.
