Now that Patch 2.0 is out on consoles we have default Loose, Stable, and OEM setups. I'm curious to know if what we had before the patch was the same as any of the current defaults and if so which one.

I'm also really curious about OEM. I feel like that's the one to start with on all cars and from there you can decide if you want it to be more stable or loose. Does OEM mean that the numbers and scales used for tuning are the same 1:1 analog of real life tuning? If so then that's really cool. To know that you're driving the car the exact same way as it was tuned to drive on a road. With this info you can make your own "sport" versions of road cars. You know how in the Top Gear reviews they always say the car is lowered, stiffened, etc? Now you can do those specific things.

What is your go-to default setup? Wheel users, you do like OEM or loose? Controller users, is stable that much better with default controller settings?

For real life setup, I go for OEM. For time-trial, I usually go with whatever the guy at the top of the leaderboard is using (usually some variation of loose). Stable also works nicely with a wheel BTW, very planted.

Based on what I can recall from reading the official forum:

- Console setups were equivalent to the stable setup before patch 2.0
- OEM setups are based on the real life setups cars have when leaving the factory.

I have a T300RS. I prefer loose over stable. Haven't driven any road cars yet since 2.0, so no experience with OEM.

Okay, so I was used to the stable setup. This came to mind because I was enjoying racing the X-Bow R but it's a street car and has an OEM setup so I wasn't sure which to use.

Here's a really good question. When the AI is below 80% on default setups, what is their default?

Where do we find these options?
You load them like a saved setup. Like before, you still have to save the setup to apply it, but you can choose "save over existing slot" and it will end up in a new slot beneath the two/three defaults. So you can make changes without overwriting the default or having to enter a name.

The stable set-up is pure gold. I uploaded It on the clio Cup car and all of a sudden is super planted. It will be my way to go. Just have to lower fuel and rear tyres preassure.

However when i go to upload set-up i only see stable and loose. Oem is not there (maybe is back ti default?)

OEM is only for road cars.
