the first license prize car I've gotten into testing, here at Apricot in the GT World Series, shown in replay after 10 test laps

Wow! This little car handles great! It's got extra DF to stick to the track at high speed despite its light weight. I've only adjusted height, down to min front and min+5mm rear, and dampers, reducing front bound and rebound both to 2, which results in understeer but, in general, greatly improved stability for MRs (plus of course adjusted gears and swapped in super softs...)

Beautiful widebody kit, very silhouette. The spec sheet in the garage is just copied from the '95 del Sol, but I know this one is wider and shorter than the production model. 617hp and 890kg=1963lbs makes for an awesome weight to power ratio. Definitely worth the effort of golding the license test!

Searched through old threads and there's not much commentary on this one. The 3000GT LM got like 5 threads, but none for the FTO LM...

That car is mid-engine rear wheel drive, correct? 500 something horsepower? I also like the screenshot. Does it handle well for a mr?

Yeah, MR, 617hp, and very light. Somehow it also handles great. Great braking, great recovery, takes only a little practice and caution and then spinouts aren't a problem. The MR weight balance also helps it to turn on a dime with proper acceleration and braking control to induce just a little drift.

How did you get KM/H!?
Oh, BTW... awesome Del Sol LM!!!

Yeah, it's annoying that PAL is in km/h but in the UK we use mph and get fined by the EU for doing so. The ratio of 1:1.6 isn't hard to work out, but still... I've always been a miles man!

Another Honda to check out (if you ain't already done so) would be the S2000 GT1. :dopey: It only has something like 550 horsepower....somewhere around there..yet it's a giant-killer. I'm assuming both cars have F1 engines in them? That's always been my assumption, anyways. Someone more knowledgeable could surely find out. I know LM cars aren't real, but perhaps PD based these two on some real-life possibilities

Honda did have a racing team in 97 through to 99. So the idea PD had of putting an F1 engine in a car that uses a CRX chassis and a widened S2000? Cool .
