Before signing up please read all the information in the entire post below, race time will be from 8:00pm Eastern Time to approximately 11:45pm Eastern Time.

Alien's Saturday Night Endurance League

What Is It? - Alien's Endurance League is a Saturday night racing event that will be a total duration of approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes. This league is for racers of all skill levels who love endurance racing and are looking for a competitive experince along the way.

How Will It Work? - Every Saturday night except major holiday weekends(Christmas, Thanksgiving, and ,New Years) I (alienunleashed25) will host a friends only lobby. Once everyone is in the first turn to check visibility of each other we will begin a 10-15 minute qualifier based on the track being raced. This qualifying session will be accompanied by the first race of two, each race will be 1 1/2 hours long. After we have concluded the first race we will have a 10 minute break for bathroom, food, drink needs. The second race will be Reverse Grid Based On Previous Race Results, so the guys who finished near the back can have a chance up near the front of the starting grid. How you race and place in the races will determine your nightly and seasonal points. A season will consist of 4 weeks (Saturdays), at that point I will get with my data specialist and tally up the points to determine our seasonal champion.

1st - 16 Points
2nd - 15 Points
3rd - 14 Points
4th - 13 Points
5th - 12 Points
6th - 11 Points
7th - 10 Points
8th - 9 Points
9th - 8 Points
10th - 7 Points
11th - 6 Points
12th - 5 Points
13th - 4 Points
14th - 3 Points
15th - 2 Points
16th - 1 Points
Note: 2 Point Bonus For Fastest Qualifying Lap
1 Point Bonus For Fastest Race Lap
If you decide to just "park" or "rage quit" you will automatically receive a DNF. I WILL NOT TOLERATE people just parking on the track because they do not want to finish the race. If you happen to have an emergency please speak up and let the host (alienunleashed25) know immediately and you will receive last place points for that race.

Rules - The rules here are pretty simple and straight forward. First of all, I expect everyone to race clean and the fastest to your potential. If I see or hear of anyone "sandbagging" during racing and I see a pattern of it, I will ban you from racing with this league. Please be courteous to all other racers male or female, on and off the track. If you have "beef" with another racer/driver either suck it up and get along or find somewhere else to race. You dont have to talk to each other but you are expected to show respect to each other when in the lobby, on the track, and on the league thread. I want a clean, friendly racing environment not a "free for all" over the microphones, if you hit another driver on track to where it affects their line/stability, please wait for them to regain their positions and please apologize to them. We are grown men, we are not children so please do not act like it. I do not want bickering back and forth over the microphones, I do not care who did what or who had right of way, if you think it was something intentional or on purpose please stay quiet, save the replay and send it to me through a PM on gtplanet (aliengamer25) and i will take care of it.

Penalties - There shall be no actual penalty points yet as I trust the people I have selected to race. However the in-game penalty system will be in play and set to Strong to simulate actual race penalties. Please do not attempt any of the following, Divebombing, Cutting the Track, and/or Overly Late Breaking to Gain Substantial Positions. If I see I have no choice but to enforce penalties I will and they will not be light.

Corner Rights - Are as follows, you must have a half car length or more ahead of the car next to you before entering a corner to have "corner rights". The driver on the inside line of the corner has the right of way , do not be aggressive or affect their line in anyway, however the inside driver should not swing wide coming out of a turn unless they have substantial room to keep from hitting or causing an accident with the driver on the outside racing line. If you do not have overlap going into a turn whether inside or outside line please backoff respectfully if both cars cannot make the turn double
wide. Racing on the Nurburgring will take place and due to the very narrow sections of the track, the driver who has overlap into Curves, Winding Straights, and Narrow Downhill Bends has the right of way, please wait til it is safe to pass. Please set up controllers and racing wheels for side view compatibilities, I DID NOT SEE YOU IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL.

Event Setup - 10-15 Minute Qualifier - From Pit Lane
1st Race - 1 1/2 Hours
10 Minute Concession
2nd Race - 1 1/2 Hours

Car Types Available - Anything that is set up to be or already is a race car. It has to have more than just a rear wing, just because a car has a rear wing doesn't make it a race car.

Tire Availability - Available compounds for racing are as follows, RH,RM,RS, Racing Intermediates, and Heavy Wets and on occassion Dirt and Snow Tires. For regualr endurance races you must change your compounds atleast 2 times to ensure you have used RH,RM, and RS. Mixing of tire compounds is not allowed under any circumstances. The only time a tire compound will not be required is in the Special Events when we are on a Dirt or Snow track. You will not need to change compounds twice during a rain event only once.

Tuning and Nitrous - Are not allowed at all, do not ask. An oil change and engine rebuild are however considered acceptable due to long hours of racing and engine wear.

Event Types - The endurance event types will differ from week to week, one week we may be running one type of race car and the next week may be a totally different race car with a whole different drivetrain.

Rain will most likely be a factor as well as night so therefore Tire Compound change will be only a minimal of one time. YOU WILL need a fresh oil change before the racing begins, karts do not require oil changes. Do not mix tires compounds. As of right now with our driver numbers we most likely will only run a 2 hour endurance unless we get more between now and then. Thank you let the voting begin.

ATTENTION ALL DRIVERS: I have recently added a section to the rules for this league. If a driver is about to get lapped or already is lapped and falls behind and the same drivers are able to lap that person again, the driver being lapped needs to courteously move aside as the lapping driver moves past. DO NOT TRY TO AFFECT THEIR LINE, USE EVASIVE MANUEVERS AND WHAT NOT. THE LAPPING DRIVER HAS THE RIGHT OF WAY! This is due to a few quick drivers we have including myself, treat the right hand side of the track as a slow lane as you would in regular everyday traffic situations, so the lapping driver should try to pass on the left (track and location dependent). There is nothing more irritating than trying to pass a moving chicane because they do not understand this rule. Hopefully everybody does good to understand this, we all make mistakes but the last mistake I want to hear is that someone caused somebody else a race because he or she didnt pay attention. Lastly, the first night may be a little rough on the edges with drivers who may have never raced with other members before. With this event occuring, I ask everyone to please be patient and watch everybody's moves learn from them and what they do, watch their habits. I understand some members are not as fast as others with that being said I encourage everyone to help out fellow members if they see they are having troubles. If anyone has questions about anything please ask a few of us to name such as @aliengamer25 , @Nail-27 , @euclid58, @hognhominy, @miata13B are very knowledgeable when it comes to racing and racecraft. Probaly the day before the race which will be next friday but you guys can practice them anyway if you want because regardless all those will eventually be used the first month

@aliengamer25 what are the driver settings rules going to look like. Ie TCS/SR, Driving Line ect?

Only thing you are allowed to use is ABS, there are some situations due to extreme darkness and crappy headlights on the Nurb and Spa I may let the driving line slide for inexperienced drivers. Havent decided on room settings yet ill figure that out this Saturday.
