You get one for doing the taken champions quest line with Petra in the reef, you also have to do the wolves on Mars and then a Lost and found quest line from Petra and she will hand you a 290 Boolean Gemini scout rifle.
Oh and the scout rifle should only require level 30, perfect to hand to those Alta when you start working on them. ;)

I was wondering why I found Wolves on Mars but didn't get any prompt to them. I'm trying to finish up the Reef bounties. I did both strikes yesterday and the SABER strike seemed very easy. On the other hand, the Sleepless Cell strike was a bit more difficult and more unique in terms of fighting style.
 
So is there anyone who's started over with the release of TTK on PS4?

I'm lv. 16, just about ready to start doing Strike Playlists, will hopefully be able to run VoG/Crota normal by next week-end.👍

The wife and I are both level 39 as of Tuesday night, so very close to 40 on the PS4, would have been 40 today if it weren't for Black Spindle and armsday on the Xbox :lol:
 
Well, somehow didn't see any alerts for this thread so i assumed it was dormant. Oops.

So, who wants to help me with the raid? I have gotten to the sisters twice but the raid team i was with disbanded for some reason or another. Only thing that has dropped for me was a god damn 300 light level ghost. And i already had a 300 light level ghost... :grumpy:

But i still haven't run out of stuff to do. Still got quests, still got the raid, still got iron banner and trials, and still got exotics to get. Its actually so cool that almost half of the exotics haven't even been obtained, much less figured out yet. Most of the exotic quests are on par with such as the thorn bounty. Difficult (god damn chaperone step one is a stressful challenge, much like the thorn bounty) and challenging, but mostly enjoyable. There are a couple of things that have annoyed me though... "wait until arms-day to ______". It makes sense from a design point of view, because i guess they just didn't want every exotic to be instantly obtained, but come on man. :grumpy:

But that is only minor for me. Everything else has pleased me greatly. I have been doing a few quests, like the sword one, and damn are they rewarding! The Dark-Drinker is so damn cool. The Night-stalker subclass is a new level of fun, and its the only class i have really explored yet! I still have much to do on my other classes! If anyone wants help with exotic quests like the chaperone one, i would be happy to help out! :) But otherwise, money damn well spent. Good job bungie. Much better than i expected. Or even hoped for. It does make you wonder though... What the hell happened to vanilla destiny? Bungie is obviously still capable of making a decent game, so how did they stuff it up so bad?
 
Did anyone get the big Collector's Edition, with the strange coin, book, weapon schematic, etc.... If so, did you get the digital content also, like the shaders, three exotic class items and emotes?

the class items are all locked at 170 defense, so they aren't worth it at all.

Soo they are implementing micro transactions for emotes now. Lets just hope that it will stay for cosmetic stuff only. On the other hand we might get some free DLC. Guess we’ll have to wait and see..

On unrelated news, I beat Oryx for the first time two days ago! Loved every second of it :D

Was doing the touch of malice quest, and found out that you need 45 fragments. I had 44, and the last one could only be aquired through doing this weeks tier 3 court mission. So I had to wait 3 days. :boggled:

Oryx has felled for me as well. He...it was generous enough to give me my Ravenous Heart (which I know is Guaranteed), Two Hand Cannons (one crappy [heh] 300 and one 304), and a Rocket Launcher.
 
Sleeper Simulant is kind of great but at the same time it's kind of meh.

Very, very sexy. Couldn't be bothered to get it though, as i only just got touch of malice, and i don't think ill be giving it up any time soon. :D

But yeah, I got the chance to try it on the sisters today, and the runner fell off, and we only started damaging the second sister with 15 seconds left. Still killed her. :D

Which is quite funny. First time I ran the raid, it was tough. Second time, not much easier. Third time, easy as pie for some reason. :confused: Looking to do it again tomorrow for the first time on my warlock. If you haven't already done all three characters, maybe we could team up? We definitely need to play together at some point!

I'll be done with all three tonight as I'm raiding with my clan again at some point today, but I'm down for any of that afterwards.

As for the raid, it gets laughably easy after you've done it a few times. Enjoy it while it lasts because Heroic is going to 🤬 everything up. :P

Some of these quests are impossible to solo. Summoning the Infantine and defeating it is really difficult.
 
Well, the preview emote that some of the youtubers got to see look, so far, awesome. Can't wait to slow clap all the failed shotgun rushers. :D
 
Any UK based players play regular on PS4? I haven't done any raids cause I don't have six friends that play
