It comes out tomorrow in the US.

I've gotta admit, I'm a little shocked that there appears to be no interest in it on this forum. It's looking pretty fantastic.

I've got a pre-order on the game and being a big fan of the original Deus Ex, I'm certainly looking forward to it.

A little displeased with Square Enix's attempt at region locking all versions recently and I nearly had to cancel my pre-order due to this but thankfully they back flipped and only locked the Russian version.

I'm going to wait for reviews, but when I saw the commercial on the TV, I was highly impressed.

I've taken a look at the gameplay video, I don't like the alternating between first person and third person. Make up your mind! Is it a first person shooter or a third person stealth/action game?

I've grown weary of first person, disembodied floating gun games. I'm going to pass for now.

I've played Deus Ex and have interest in this one, but I've learned long ago not to trust reviews/reviewers. I'll most likely wait for a price drop.

You know I'm all for flexibility in game reviewing, as it is much more art than science, but GT's really confuses the hell out of me with their logic sometimes. So watched the review and they conclude it with the following scores:
* Story - 7.8
* Design - 8.6
* Gameplay - 8.8
* Presentation - 7.8
* Overall - 8.7

I can fully appreciate giving weighting factors to the categories so the final score may not be a straight average, but using this example why even rate the Story and Presentation if they have zero impact towards the final analysis? :confused:

Anyway... still looks like an immensely entertaining game, which I had the time to play them all.

Here's something interesting for anyone planning on buying this on PC, Gamestop is reportedly removing the OnLive vouchers from the copies they're selling.

Indeed, quite messed up. Glad I bought my copy from Amazon. 👍

On that note, if anyone is interested in Human Revolution and uses OnLive, you can have my code. Just send me a PM.

Haven't gotten to sit down and really dig into the game just yet, but it seems good from what little I've gotten to try so far.

I'm getting it for sure, looks amazing and it didn't have one bad review, and there's no good games coming out anytime soon

My wife bought me the Augmented Edition (without me even asking, she heard me talking abut the game with a friend) and I've enjoyed my time with the game so far. My only complaints thus far are the awkward controls, mainly due to me being used to modern FPS controls but it is something I'm getting used to, and my only other complaint would be the transition from first to third person. It just seems awkward to me and I personally think the game would be much better if it either stayed third or first (preferably third because I'm doing a stealth playthrough) but other than those two minor things that are easily ignored, I'm loving the game.

Depending on your tastes in games, F12011 is coming out in just under a month and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be out a few weeks after. I'm on the fence about Deus Ex, but I'll probably pick it up at some point.

I played the original and 2. Liked both but the first was by far superior.
Got DX3 this friday, and it is sooo great that i played for 11 hours straight.
And that happens to me once in a decade.

So many eastereggs and funny side stories and quotes.

Massive weapons upgrade possible.

Massive caracter upgrade

But all without getting ugly difficult.
Also very rewarding when getting a mission done without an alarm setoff.

Love it.

played non stop since Friday release, fantastic game it takes what made invisible war (the only other title I've played) great and just scales it up in every way 8/10

I have never played these games. I have interest in it, but I just don't see myself going and buying it.

does look good though, if a friend tells me it's worth it then I'll go buy it.

My copy finally arrived in the mail today. I managed to get about an hour in so far and I am loving it. Finding taking the stealth option quite challenging. I haven't played far enough yet to get into the augment upgrades but I've already got my eye on that typhoon upgrade, it looks like it could come in handy.

Just completed my first playthrough, took about 25 hours with a mix of stealth and run&gun. Definitely going in for seconds. 👍 Surprised not many more people are playing this, GOTY material IMO. :)

I've heard so much about it I'm feeling very tempted, I think I might get it. I've never played the originals hopefully it shouldn't matter too much

I've been waiting to get Human Revolution for the past couple of months, so I went ahead and bought my copy yesterday. I decided to go for the more stealthy approach on my first playthrough, and after completing to first few missions I'm finding the game thoroughly enjoyable. I can't wait to get my hands on some of the character/weapon upgrades as well.

i finished my first playthrough this morning @ 4am. Lol. Coudn't stop.

The game is simply awesome.

Also tried to do more of a stealth approch. But as soon as things get sour, it don't load a previous gamesafe, i do a Chuck Norris instead.
I did around 70 % without getting the alarm ringing.

Also liked the fact that if you do a lot of the side stuff you can nearly upgrade Jensen completly.

I wandered a lot around and so I got around 40 hours of game. So I will wait with a second playthrough, especially with all the games coming. Next week Dead Island, after Red Ochestra, ...

But sure thing I will play again.

Also, DLC incoming.
