B-spec, Extreme series: DTM Challenge, Lexus IS-F racing concept and tires.

These words do not fit in one sentence. Can anyone please help me or advice me what to do otherwise? Should I really grind cash for another DTM car for just 1 race? Thanks in advance.

Another challenge unlocks an AudiTT DTM car (can't remember which one, but there's a chart on the site that tells you what you win for every challenge).

Do that one first, then use the Audi. Easy win.

Doesn't it seem strange you can use a LEXUS (Luxury Export United States) in a German only series yet you can't use the lexus in the European championship last time I looked on a map Germany (don't mention the war) was in Europe. Is this a glitch or is Yamauchi-san just ignorant?

The country of origin doesn't matter for some race series, this is not a German only event, this is the DTM event, therefore any car that meets DTM specifications and requirements can enter.

The Alfa Rmeo 155 is Italian, but it is a DTM car that actually raced in, and won, the DTM championship. Supposedly, the Lexus was built to DTM specificaions so it therefore qualifies for the DTM race on GT5.

Races on GT5 are to do with country of origin or specific make or type of vehicle, it varies throughout the game.

However, there are some exceptions, like the Japanese GT event (JGTC or Super GT) in which supposedly (I haven't tried) the Minolta Toyota can race in, which is absurd as this is a Le Mans car and massively more powerful and lighter than the JGTC cars.

Yet you can't race the Nomad Diablo because its Italian, and that was an actual JGTC car!!

What's the problem mate?

The tires are smoking (dark red) after Bob has driven 1/2 lap(s). The other cars don't seem to have any trouble with it. Tried EVERY tire available, happens to all. I'll try the other blokes advice and check where I can get an audi TT touringcar from.

Unless you my friend, have a solution <grins>

I'm not sure if you do win the Audi, but the CLK with a turbo is too good to lose.
