I just ordered my DFP. It'll be here in like 7 days or less. I'm so pumped because I'll finally be able to drift.

Do you think so? The ablility to drift is in the person, not the controller.

But congrats on getting a great wheel.

I can drift in real life fairly well but I can't do **** with the controller because I just can't get enough precise steering with the joysticks. I'm ready for the new gaming experience.

let us know if you end up drifting with it

Agreed, at first your going to have a bit of a job just doing clean laps! Your going to get very frustrated with the DFP at first but stick with it and with a lot of practice you will get better. Id suggest just trying for fast "grip" laps and when you feel you got it under control then try for drifting. When i first got my DFP i was so unimpressed that it didnt instantly turn me into a hot lapping beast i left it on the shelf for a good month. Just dont expect to be a driving god with the wheel straight away, it takes a fair bit of time.

Spec....

Yeah, when you first get the DFP you're going to go through the "Oh NO, I suck again!!!" phase. Like Specialized said, just stick with it. Once you get re-familiarized with the new control scheme, you'll be in (probably) better shape than before.

Congrats! And best of luck figuring out the drift.
