Diablo Available For The Us Version

i tried to get the diablo but when i went to play gt3 my memory was deleted and the diablo save wasent there. could someone help me out to get the diablo and if its possible maybe a way to get my memory back (im a little disappointed it happened i had 60 cars in gt3, on the last mission on gta3, unlocked everything in sd:jbi and legends of wrestling)

By Popular Request, I have decide to give a few extra directions for all of the traffic that has downloaded this file (and for those about to.)

This can be transferred to your PS2's memory card using a Sharkport, or a Dex Drive (Anyone that knows of other methods, PM me, and I'll add them in) (www.gameshark.com) (Thanks MustangMan for the idea :))
Before you do ANYTHING, back up your entire memory card to your PC. It's always better to be safe than sorry. ;)
If you are using the Gameshark, upgrade the software off of www.gameshark.com because the file is incompatible with older versions.
Let me admit that this software is unusually confusing to use, and I apologize in advance for the problems that many of you are about to experience. :eek:
For anyone that is curious, this save file has tons of cars included on it for your enjoyment, not just the Nomad. :)

Garage number one.
Garage number two

The first is a the 'ultimate' single player garage off of Gamefaqs.com
The second is the 'ultimate' multiplayer garage off of gamefaqs.com.
Both have 200 cars, including the Diablo, the single player has all gold licenses, with no races as of yet run.
The multiplayer has all the races unlocked, and a really big starting purse.

Why don't you load up this game and see for yourself?
 
Has anyone found the code (if there is one) to unlock the Diabolo on th UK version of the game. It is suggested that it is there somewhere, but disabled so that it doesn't appear.
 
Hi there. Which works better for getting the Diablo, Dexdrive or Sharkport? I know the DD has been around quite awhile so I'm not sure if it supports the newer gamefile formats? Is there a method where I can swap about individual cars? Or will I need a second memory card?

I'm looking for the cheapest way to get a Diablo or any other future file from the web.

The only way to get this car is to hack the memory card. (Or a GS code.)
 
I'm not exactly sure. I know how to do it for hybrids, but other than that, I'd assume you'd need some sort of hex editor - and then you'd have to know what you are looking for.
 
that link that you inlcuded goes to a page that doesn't exsist. Can you check it out and repost. I would be most interested in seeing and finding out how to aquire that car. Thanks
 
well, I must say that I was able to DL that zip file last night and used the Shark Pork to put it onto my memory card. And after driving the Diablo, that only thing that I can say is..................at least it looks good. It drives like a tank.

Maybe I have been spolied by the handling and speed of the F1 style cars, but this thing felt heavy. I tried getting the super stickies, and adjusting the spring rate and the downforce, all things which did help, but all in all, I wont be setting any lap records with this baby.

the car is money though as far as looks go and the cool factor of having a car that wasnt suppose to be there.

See post #11 in this thread. It should answer your question. I will PM you the file. You will need a shark port to use it. Tom's instructions are clear so hopefully you should have a Diabolo to play with soon.

There is an attached zip file containing 3 files:

diaboloUS.ini - just the diabolo. Use MK's hybrid program to import this into your garage - search forum for advice on this.

GT3 Super Save with Diablo.sps - A garage full of cars including the Diabolo. Most with 0 miles. All licences gold.

GT3 Super Save with Diablo.txt - tells you the cars in the above save

You'll need a shark port to up these onto a memory card. I'd save your own garage first - just in case.

If you read through the thread you'll get some advice on transferring the stuff into your garage.

Instead of using a sharkport or something like that u think u could hook a USB cord into the front of the PS2 and to the back of your computer???
