Absolutely, faster from A to B.If only more people would use this thecknik, less traffick jams!

GT
Most of the skills GT conveys should only be used in the game or on a track: the public road is NO place to go racing or use race techniques! There are people out there that can get seriously hurt including yourself. GT is a GAME, not real life and a mistake in reality can destroy your life and those of others.

Next time i'll stop on yellow.(mom) 👍

Can't say I've noticed a large difference in my everyday driving since playing GT more. Although I have applied cornering techniques to my driving because my car has no ABS, TCS or anything of the sort.

On the track it has helped a lot. I'm more consistent with my lap times, run a better line, etc. Although I left foot brake in GT, I don't in real life. Probably has to do with the whole two pedal thing. If I had a G27 this might be different. I would bet that nobody else at our local track days could run a faster time around our track in my car. :)

Am I the only person that holds my wheel in 4, 6, or 7 while cruising :D. It feels more comfortable and sometimes I even raise my left foot to the left side dash board near the side mirror. It sometimes people look at me funny. But when I'm in a city, my G27 style kick in, in 3 and 9 position. GT teaches me to be more aware on my surrounding. It even saved me from this one crazy dude that almost crash into my right door! Thank you Gran Turismo  You saved me a couple of thousands and a broken bone.

I also am more aware of everytning going on around me, but I think it comes down more to 12 years of experience than playing a video game.

When racing go-karts, I found that GT gave me a huge amount of help. Nothing to do with the physics, but throttle control, brake control, steering control, racing line, and smoothness I got directly from GT, with extra help on throttle control from Forza.
