Driftnewb110it happened to me. but i just lost teh cars. and its either cuz u drove your car out of a track, or at about 50%, the car on teh top of ur list in ur garage, says "No Name" if it does, sell that car for $0. if u dont sell it and u save, thats how u lose all your cars
"The GT2 glitch" would corrupt only your GT2 garage, leaving the memory card consistent and other saves intact. It would happen immediately after doing the Max Speed Test.VTECseoulit happened 2 me after all these years. is the Greatest Hits game still out, & the glitch was worked out so 100% can be done now, rite? how did u react? the mem card had both GT1 & GT2 & it's wiped clean.
isnt that good?truenofani had a glitch on my gt2, in which the first car on your garage or the second would have a hp higher than a thousand. it kinda repeated twice when i was playing. but the car did work, my skyline went too fast though.
Not sure if my multi-cards have batteries. Only the oldest (visibly an earlier model) is at all flakey so far. But then all the important crap on those cards is Dex'd somewhere anyway... As long as I have a GameShark to change day and therefore used car line-ups my 24 used-car lineups is less important. I stick them in once in a while and look at various stuff--I guess maybe I should do so a bit more regularly. Or just forget about them, maybe...pupikMulti-size Memory Cards with battery power tend to go bad eventually, for example. Best to stick with the 1x cards, they are fairly cheap these days. I've never had any brand of 1x cards go bad, but I tend to take good care of my PSX, disks, and memory cards.
I think it's something to do with how very young people learn. You tell them not being careful can damage the disk and they say "but it still works alright". Grr. Probably destined to become engineers (as opposed to theoreticians). Less young people and really old people like me still have some wonderment at 600MB of information on a 4.5" disk, etc. But for really young people it's just an assumed part of their world view. Why should they need to be careful with it?pupikA scratched disk can also ruin your day. Luckily, GT2 almost nev mayer left my PSX, so that wasn't an issue, unless GT1 went in it's place! Of course, over the years, people seem to treat all optical disks like they are trash; by not putting them in a case which might take 10 extra seconds of your time, money's lost and headaches are gained.
