No, I actually live in Downtown L.A. at the moment! I just wanted to check out that recently relocated C&C event. I went to the one in Irvine for a few times last year and I missed it. This one in Aliso Viejo wasn't as big as any day I went to in Irvine, (except maybe November 1, 2014 where people anticipated rain in the morning) but it was worth it. Some cars, like the Alpine Berlinette 1600 SC, the Cord Phaeton, the Facel Vega Facellia, and the Willys CJ2A - I saw them for the first time, and I was very glad about it. It was the Saturday before spring break, so I got some energy to waste since I'd have more time than usual to finish up schoolwork.

I don't think I'll be going there again anytime soon, maybe someday in May after the final exams. But if you happen to be on-site and you see someone just repetitively roaming around awkwardly while holding a BlackBerry Q10 and almost never saying a word, that's probably me... :lol:

At risk of boring everyone, I'll be uploading only a small selection of pics from the NYIAS as @GranTurismo916 has done an excellent job of covering the show. I've got a large number of pictures to go through, so it'll probably be later today at minimum when I post them.

For now I'll leave you with pics from Manhattan Motorcars. Unfortunately they didn't have a whole lot of people working yesterday and only the Porsche section was open, still that was the best part for me. It was quite hard to photograph the other cars due to the reflections on the glass, but the notable cars not pictured are as follows:

The owner of this 308 was significantly younger than anyone else who brought a car here.

Pictured: typical supercar owners.

You can pretty much see the entire venue in this photo. To the left side is a street with houses on it, as is the street behind where this picture was taken. Unlike most car shows, this one is held in a neighborhood called Wingate Ranch, which has pretty nice community center. It can't hold as many cars as typical venues, but I'd say it's quality over quantity in this case.

Couldn't decide which photo was better, so have both.

"The perks of being late!" said a kid in response to a passer-by commenting on the Ferrari's position. The same kid had just gotten done crouching to get a photo of the front of the car right in front of me, because not even the photographers at car shows have any spacial awareness.
