I can't wait till Mecum Auctions comes the the Farm Show Center in Harrisburg, PA this year. It's there first auction in the Northeast. I always love watching them and Barrett Jackson on tv. Some pretty incredible cars there this year, especially that 300SL!

It was announced back in November, though I can't remember where I saw it announced. Anyways it runs from July 24-26 at the Farm Show Complex. It'll be my first time going to a car auction, so I can't wait to see what kind of consignments they'll get. I imagine it'll be mostly muscle and hot rods, though I wouldn't be surprised if a few exotics turn up.

One thing I've wondered though is would it be best to go the first day, or are all the cars on display until the auction is over regardless of whether they sell.

It's the 2009 Mosler Raptor GTR Prototype.

Edit: After looking up some more about the car, I've only found 1 other Raptor GTR(painted black), then I realized that I've seen that one before online. Apparently the guy that owns the black Raptor also owns the 15th and final SSC Ultimate Aero.

I find it funny that you want to Barrett Jackson, the mechah of all classic car auctions, and you take pictures of a Lincoln crossover. Epic post though.

GoBeefBoy the first "custom mustang" is actually a Bass Eqqus 770(or something like that). Epic modern rendition of a muscle car. And those
knock off Fiskers are called Destinos. They're powered by a Corvette V8. The story is that a guy named Bob Lutz bought 25 unsold Karmas, put a new face and LS V8 instead of the hybrid running gear and is selling them for 100k over the base Karma price.
