If everyone's goin to bitch, I'm just goin to stop posting pictures period. If you don't like it or don't find it interesting ignore it and move on. I found it interesting therefore I posted it. Which is the point of this thread.

V8 Charger.

Indeed and now if I only can actually find a SW20 MR2. That's the one I really adore.

Always been more of a fan of the AW11, partly because it has a 4AGE whereas the SW20 has the same engine as a Camry, and partly the styling. And I'm sure the fact that my dad owned one when I was about 6 helped. :P

Ahh, I mostly just prefer the SW20's styling for some reason. Also, I guess I like it due to nostalgia reasons and Gran Turismo.

Mitsubishi Lancer. I had a side shot, but I couldn't decide wether or not to tak a picture. They're fairly rare around here though, so I did.

Okay, these aren't super rare, but still pretty cool. C3 Corvette.

And this BMW Z4 M.

I'll admit, not as many cool ones as the last couple, but better than the first few .

ummm...

my #2 most viewed Flickr photo...

and more recently, much, but not all, of the snow melted off, and roads were dry, and I perhaps lowered my standards since it was the first chance for spotting in a while (there's been snow on the ground for at least the last 7 weeks, and looks to be at least a couple more now...)

liked this Carrera, not sure what year but guessing 1987ish

and I think this is a Panamera GTS

and a bird with a 7L V8 on a trailer...

yeah, Porsches are confusing, especially in the mid 80's-early 90's for me. Though 996/997 took a minute, and 997.1 vs 997.2. At least 991 are easy to recognize on the road...

also, not sure about Collector plates in Ohio, but I'd think it's 25+ years old (so Feb 1989 or earlier), though may be any age, I don't know... I guess Historic is for 25+ year old, what's Collector plates for, then? Collector cars are lower price registration and you agree not to drive them very much?

Holy cow, 3 MR2s all in one page!

I never even knew they made a Z4 M. I thought that it was called M Coupe and I didn't know they made a Convertible as well. Either way, the S Drive looks miles better.
I agree, the current Z4 does look much better.

If I were you I wouldn't take a picture of a Lancer unless it was an Evo, but I don't know how to tell an Evo apart from a normal Lancer (so many of the normal ones have spoilers etc.).

Good spot! 👍

Yeah, I know they're just your average 4WD van, but I don't see many around here, so I figured one picture was alright.

Good spot! 👍
Thanks! I may have seen one around my neighborhood, not sure how to tell a Z4 M and a regular apart except for the badge on the side, so I was happy I saw this one.

Hey, I've taken photos of regular Lancers, too... they do look good, and if they're rare for you, understandable that you'd get a little excited when you see one. But more importantly, meant to say, holy cow, Dagger! That was fast! And thanks to ilikewaffles, of course. Now don't get lazy, it takes a long time to really get familiar with most of what you're likely to see on the road. And speaking of that, who posted a damn Celica? (Not the awesome 1970's GT one in HK, that was cool, but one that they made millions of that's less than 15 years old, and not even a GT...) Sorry for the aside. Much, much better spotting! is what I wanted to say.

Agreed with jeffgoddin. I completely forgot about the "What's common where you're from is not necessarily common for someone else" rule. Do keep posting them if you rarely see them. :)👍

I'm getting better at IDs, but I get a lot wrong, and don't know the values of any. Of course I knew the Saleen and C1 vette were good, but I still get a lot of '80s American econoboxes (I'm biased). Although I do pass on all Accords and Civics now :P.

Will do 👍.

How'd you know that bird had a 429?

So I can't post a car I've never seen before because I found it interesting? I'm pretty sure that was the point of this thread, not to cater to others judgement about what's good or not. But whatever, Im not going to argue with you guys. That'd be the old Slash. Moving on :)

There's a balance between what you find interesting and what everyone else finds interesting. If nobody else finds it interesting, you might not want to post it. If you're not sure, the DIJSSGT thread is there to ask for opinions. 👍
